Replace the Engine Starter Motor
The Safety Recall relates to the engine starter motor. The fault relates to the RSW22 starter RWT (reinforced water tightness). It was found that with RWT starters an increased abrasion of the magnetic contact can cause the growth of deposits at the lowest point of the relay interior. This in turn may increase the relay contact resistance resulting in false starts or even causing short circuits and possibly a thermal reaction. In case of a short circuit the possibility of a thermal event cannot be excluded. This may happen while attempting to start the vehicle or while driving due to vibrations causing a short circuit due to moving deposits.
On the affected vehicles the starter motor will be replaced with a variant by another supplier with a different design. Until the repair has been completed it is recommended to not leave the vehicle running unattended after starting the engine.

Jaecoo 7 ICE (T1EJ) - Wiring Harness Interference Issue
We have recently identified an issue concerning the ECU (Electronic Control Unit) wiring harness clip in a specific batch of vehicles. Our investigation found that the ECU harness clip was not fully engaged during the assembly process. The incomplete engagement of the ECU harness clip may lead to engine warning light and an unexpected engine stall while the vehicle is in motion thereby increasing the risk of a crash.
For vehicles within the risk scope a recall will be initiated and provide free inspection and repair for all affected vehicles. The solution includes checking and ensuring the correct installation of the harness fastener and replacing any worn harness if necessary.

25SC5 Transit Automatic Transmission Wiring Damage
On affected vehicles insufficient clearance between the wiring harness and transmission housing may lead to damaged wiring or chafing which can cause a short circuit and arcing increasing the risk of fire.
Check the wiring harness. Repair reposition and secure if necessary. .
Replacing Takata driver airbag
The safety of our customers and the reliability and long-term service life of our models represent our top priority. For this reason Audi conducts programmes to constantly monitor the quality of its products.Extensive analyses have found that the gas generator housing for your vehicle’s front airbag may in extremely rare cases be overloaded and even burst when the front airbag is triggered. If this were to happen small metal parts could become dislodged from the housing and potentially cause life-threatening injury to a vehicle occupant.
As a precautionary safety measure it is necessary to replace the airbag unit. The work required will take approximately two hours and will of course be performed free of charge. Please note for organisational reasons the Audi Centre may require your vehicle for longer they will advise you of this at the point of booking.

26S06 Capri Explorer - Torque Inspection On Various Joints
Affected vehicles may have rear axle joints that were not tightened to the specified torque during manufacturing.
Check toe and camber links to subframe torques and if not according to specification change the fixings. A check of wheel alignment is also required.

C0507 – IRMU & EMC FILTER REPLACE
On affected vehicles there is a risk of electric shock if the AC charging inlet socket (or the power cable to external equipment) is severely damaged and you touch an exposed electrical conducting part and at the same time touch the chassis or other earth connected part of the vehicle.
The insulation monitoring device (IMD) will be replaced by an upgraded version a residual current device (RCPF sensor) will be installed inside the insulation resistance measurement unit and software updated. If necessary some vehicles will have the EMC filter reinstalled.
Seat backrest frame cover
Škoda Auto has discovered that there is a risk with the Kodiaq model from a limited production period that the edge of the inner frame of the front seats may compromise the integrity of the side airbag when activated. This situation may reduce the protective effect of the side airbag which could result in an increased risk of injury to passengers in the event of an accident. For safety reasons your vehicle must be repaired. We strongly recommend that you contact an authorized Škoda service center as soon as possible to arrange a repair date. In the first instance we ask that you contact your local ŠKODA authorised repairer as soon as possible to make an appointment. The ŠKODA authorised repairer closest to you can be found on https://tools.skoda.co.uk/find-a-retailer
The vehicle will be fitted with sharp edge protection for the inner frame of the front seats to prevent damage to the integrity of the side airbag when it is deployed.
Removal of alternator to main harness connector
On affected vehicles under specific environmental conditions a localised high impedance area can occur within the connector leading to high current though small contact areas. This can lead to excessive heat causing the connector to deform. In this event the alternator may not continue to provide energy to the system which may lead to a low battery warning and cause the bike to power off as well as potential thermal/degradation concerns.
