Battery Check
For affected vehicles battery cells were fitted in the high-voltage battery that can demonstrate an increased self-discharge due to a production fault. In the event of heavy self-discharge the yellow indicator lamps may light up.
The affected battery modules must be checked and if necessary replaced. The vehicle may only be charged outdoors and up to maximum 80%.

M0399 UDS pump replace (wave 4). FL/FE (3)
Faulty Urea pump membrane could lead to that the vehicle to be non-compliant to legislation.
Replacement of the UDS pump unit to correct membrane.
USA Imported vehicle Recall Driver side airbag module replacement
USA Recall for Imported vehicles NITSA 20V785. Volkswagen has detected that on some USA Imported Beetle models that the driver front airbag inflator can explode due to propellant degradation that occurs after exposure to high absolute humidity high temperatures and high temperature cycling. An inflator explosion in these circumstances can result in injury to the driver or other occupants due to the ejection of metal fragments during the airbag explosion.
For safety reasons the driver airbag unit must be replaced. The work required will take approximately 1.5 hours and will of course be performed free of charge.

Power Steering Wiring Harness.
Affected vehicles may have a power steering harness routed between two screws where minor vibrations could cause harness damage resulting in a possible short circuit. This could lead to a loss of power‑steering assistance and in worst case a fire.
Ensure new routing and protection of the harness by replacing the existing clip with a new one and add a cap on the bolt thread.
TSI2026-01 FRONT BRAKE CALIPER MALFUNCTIONING
Due to a malfunction of the front brake caliper the caliper piston is unable to move back fully to its rest position after releasing the brake lever. In the event of problems brake drag could occur. This could lead to a loss of control of the vehicle.
Affected units must have Front brake caliper and Master Cylinder replaced with the countermeasure components specified.
Alternator protection
Affected vehicles may have been assembled with contact or with a reduced clearance between the Gasoline Particulate Filter pipe and the pole protection cap of the 48V Belt Starter Generator. There is a possibility of contact between these components leading to water infiltration and an electrical arch which could trigger a thermal event.
Replace the pole protection cap of the 48V Belt Starter Generator. Check the distance between the Gasoline Particulate Filter pipe and the pole protection cap of the 48V Belt Starter Generator and re‑position or replace the pipe if required.

SLI disconnection to server “Here” not monitored.
On affected vehicles the front camera module calibration may be incorrect which may lead to non-compliance with the speed limit indication system regulatory requirement.
Update the central vehicle management software.
2019 to 2021 Model Year Jaguar I-PACE Battery Fire or Smoke
Some vehicles have experienced thermal overload in the high voltage traction battery pack which may present as smoke or fire. Since the installation of protective software field evidence has shown that there remains a risk of thermal overload in vehicles with battery packs manufactured up to the end of 2021 model year.
As an interim repair the vehicles will have software installed to restrict the maximum state of charge to 90% whilst a permanent remedy is developed.

Front lower arm Bolts
For certain vehicles and as a preventative measure there is concern involving the locking nuts in the area of the front suspension lower arm ball joints for where loosening of the fixings cannot be ruled out.
Check of the tightening of the front suspension lower arm ball joint nuts and if necessary replace both nuts
Replace the Engine Starter Motor
The Safety Recall relates to the engine starter motor. The fault relates to the RSW22 starter RWT (reinforced water tightness). It was found that with RWT starters an increased abrasion of the magnetic contact can cause the growth of deposits at the lowest point of the relay interior. This in turn may increase the relay contact resistance resulting in false starts or even causing short circuits and possibly a thermal reaction. In case of a short circuit the possibility of a thermal event cannot be excluded. This may happen while attempting to start the vehicle or while driving due to vibrations causing a short circuit due to moving deposits.
On the affected vehicles the starter motor will be replaced with a variant by another supplier with a different design. Until the repair has been completed it is recommended to not leave the vehicle running unattended after starting the engine.
Jaecoo 7 ICE (T1EJ) - Wiring Harness Interference Issue
We have recently identified an issue concerning the ECU (Electronic Control Unit) wiring harness clip in a specific batch of vehicles. Our investigation found that the ECU harness clip was not fully engaged during the assembly process. The incomplete engagement of the ECU harness clip may lead to engine warning light and an unexpected engine stall while the vehicle is in motion thereby increasing the risk of a crash.
For vehicles within the risk scope a recall will be initiated and provide free inspection and repair for all affected vehicles. The solution includes checking and ensuring the correct installation of the harness fastener and replacing any worn harness if necessary.

2018-2022 Jeep Wrangler Check Engine Malfunction Indicator Lamp Incorrect operation and warning
On affected vehicles the Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) may not function as intended in the Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC). This condition will not affect emissions. However in the event of an emission issue that would require illumination of the MIL the driver may not be alerted due to the MIL not illuminating.
