On affected vehicles the EM40 and EM55 vehicle battery ‘in’ (VB IN) connector can overheat and in certain circumstances fail losing all power to the unit with the possible loss of all rear road lights.

VARIO SIDE CASE – CUSTOMER NOTIFICATION FOR CONTINUED USAGE
On motorcycles fitted with the accessory Vario side cases it is possible the locking catches for the lid do not engage and the lid is not securely locked. In this circumstance the lid may come open during use.
On the affected motorcycles additional safety measures and a warning label will be fitted to allow continued use and once available the affected boxes will be replaced.

On certain vehicles the hose fitted onto the quick connector of the fuel feed line may not have been assembled to manufacturing specification and may become loose while operating under pressure.

LSS & TSS 3.0 Forward Recognition Camera on Multiple Models
Due to the programming of the forward recognition camera software there is a possibility that the memory inside the forward recognition camera could fail during processing when the ignition is turned OFF. If this occurs the PCS will not activate on the next ignition start causing warning lights to illuminate audible chimes to sound and messages to display on the instrument panel.
Reprogram the Forward Recognition Camera.

Transmission Control Module (TCM) software concern
On affected vehicles a fault relating to the software that controls the engine / electric motor clutch may prevent the clutch from re-engaging after braking is carried out.
Update the Transmission Control Module with revised software.
SRPC2341 - Housing of the rear axle transmission
On affected vehicles the housing of the rear axle transmission might not meet the strength requirements.
Replace axle centrepiece of rear axle.
ARB2 - Replacing upper trailing arm on the front axle
On affected vehicles there’s a possibility the upper trailing arms on the nearside front axle do not meet required specifications. If this is the case the trailing arm may break.
Replace the nearside upper trailing arm on the front axle.

Checking the Seat Mechanism of the Left Front Seat U11
On affected vehicles the seat mechanism of the front left seat may not have been manufactured within accordance to specifications It is possible that an incorrectly sized rivet was used during production. As a result the mechanism may fail in the event of an accident.
On affected vehicles the front left seat mechanism will be checked and if necessary replaced.
Risk of Product becoming detached from trailer
On certain trailers the welds are breaking allowing the unit to move resulting in the inserts being pulled freeing the unit from its mountings. Or the inserts are pulling out loosening the remaining fasteners and freeing the unit from its mountings.
Inspect and if necessary modify the trailer's fittings and fixtures.

Check routing of the belt straps of the rear three-point belts and correct routing depending on the check result.

Possible abrasion wear of the fuel supply pipe
On affected vehicles there is a possibility of abrasive wear of the fuel supply line. This can cause one or several possible effects: Fuel odour in the passenger compartment High fuel consumption Fuel leak in the engine compartment visible under the vehicle Risk of fire.
Check the fuel pipe and replace if required. All affected vehicles will be fitted with a mounting clip to protect the fuel pipe.

On affected motorcycles the rear tyre can develop cracking or other deformation of the tyre tread under higher-speed operation conditions. In the worst case under continued use portions of the tyre tread may separate from the tyre structure and impact overall motorcycle dynamics.
