Ranger Idler Gear Failure
A small number of Ranger vehicles that have been manufactured with an incorrectly assembled engine idler gear. An improperly installed engine idler gear may cause an engine stall with sudden loss of power whilst driving increasing the risk of crash or injury. A noise is typically observed from the engine in advance. In the event of a failure the vehicle will stall and/or not start.
Replace Idler assembly
ECM and DCU Software update
Affected vehicles fitted with 1.9 RZ4E engines may under very specific driving conditions experience engine management control that may result in temporary emission irregularities.
On the affected vehicles an update to the Engine Management Control unit software will be carried out
The rear inner driveshaft may develop noise resulting in a loss of drive
On affected vehicles the rear inner driveshaft may develop noise resulting in a loss of drive.
On all affected vehicles replace the affected driveshaft and check properly fastened
The Integrated Charging Control Unit (ICCU) may become defective and stop charging the 12-volt battery which can result in the vehicle entering into a ‘failsafe’ driving mode.
On affected vehicles the Integrated Charging Control Unit (ICCU) may be come defective and stop charging the 12volt battery this can result in the vehicle entering a failsafe driving mode
On all affected vehicles update the ICCU software and check and replace if necessary the ICCU and fuse.

2024 Model Year Range Rover and Range Rover Sport Loss of Drive
For affected vehicles the clutch plates within the hybrid transmission may have been manufactured with a flatness out of tolerance to the engineering specification.
Diagnostic test to determine whether the clutch packs within the transmission are operating as expected. Any transmissions which fail the test will be replaced.

Replacing front suspension link
A suspension link on the front axle that has invisible cracks may have been fitted to your vehicle. This possible damage means the service life of the suspension link can no longer be guaranteed and the component may fail. A failure particularly at higher speeds may result in vehicle behaviour that is difficult to control.
For safety reasons it is necessary to replace the front upper left suspension link
24C21 – Focus Passenger Beltminder Chime
While monitoring vehicles in operation we have identified a number of Focus vehicles where the passenger belt minder chime is not activated when the vehicle goes over 15 mph. Regulatory requirements mandate that an audible chime must activate when the first-row passenger seatbelt is unfastened and the vehicle speed exceeds 15 mph.
Update the instrument panel cluster IPC configuration.
Drivers side front airbag
On affected vehicles a deterioration of the driver airbag propellant could occur. In the event of an accident and the activation of the driver airbag fragments of the generator housing could become detached and injure the vehicle occupants.
The driver side front airbag gas generator must be replaced in all affected vehicles.
SRPC2411 – Parameter Data Set of Airbag Control Unit
On affected vehicles the airbag control unit may not correspond to specifications. In the event of an accident the active bonnet may not be triggered.
Update the airbag control unit software.
Brake line botled connection
On affected vehicles a fault when tightening the rear left brake line can cause leaks from the brake hose connection leading to a gradual loss of brake fluid.
Check and secure the affected connection. Replace affected parts if leaking.
C0390 FAS parameter update FH FM FHE FME 4
There is a risk that the warnings and deactivation when the driver is not holding the steering wheel that is mandatory according to legal requirements do not occur when using the Pilot Assist System.
Update software to the latest level.
SRT 360 - Software update for Forward Recognition Camera
On affected vehicles a programming issue within the forward recognition camera system could potentially result in memory failure during processing and the Pre Collision Systems (PCS) not activating on the next ignition cycle with audible chimes and visual warning lights and messages displayed on the instrument panel.
On affected vehicles the forward recognition camera system will be reprogrammed
