FAILURE OF REAR WHEEL STUDS
Concern that rear wheel mounting studs may fail due to a combination of:- i) Incorrect high material hardness ii) presence of excessive 'laps' in thread forming.
Recall affected vehicles and rework using quality assured wheel studs
WHEEL RETAINING BOLTS MAY BE TOO SHORT
In some cases the alloy wheel retaining bolts may be of insufficient length and fail to achieve sufficient penetration into the threads in the hub.
Recall the affected vehicles for replacement of the suspect bolts with longer versions.

SERVICE BRAKE HOSE ON FRONT AXLE CHAFING
The offside service brake hose on the first axle may be incorrectly routed. This may result in a chafe condition. In extreme cases this may lead to premature hose failure and a reduction in front axle braking effort.
Inspect routing of the service brake hose at the offside of the front axle. Hose to be re-routed if found to be incorrectly sited. Replace any hose exhibiting chafing damage.
LOAD SENSING LINKAGE
The load sensing linkage can contact the vehicle body causing distortion of the linkage and resulting in a reduction of the efficiency of the rear brakes.
Recall the affected vehicles for a modification to the body wheel arch structure which will eliminate the possibility of contact with the load sensing valve linkage.
POSSIBLE LOOSENING OF FRONT SPROCKET RETAINING NUT
The front sprocket retaining nut may loosen due to incorrect installation of the locking washer. This could allow the sprocket to detach from the output shaft and possibly affect the stability of the machine.
Recall the affected machines for replacement of the front sprocket retaining nut and fitment of a revised locking washer.
POSSIBLE LEAKAGE OF FUEL
Possible leakage of fuel on the low pressure side of the system.
Recall the affected vehicles examine and rectify any sources of fuel leakage and modify two connections within the system by the fitment of revised connectors.
CRACKING OF SPRING SADDLES
Due to incorrect fitment on production the spring saddles on '1132' tandem axles may crack resulting in insecurity of the rear bogie.
Recall the affected vehicles for fitment of a modified and improved spring saddle.

WATER INGRESS TO INJECTORS
It is possible for water to enter the injection mechanism resulting in a sudden loss of engine power.
Recall the affected vehicles for replacement of the fuel distributors injectors and hoses.
SEIZURE OF STEERING COLUMN COUPLING SLIDING SPLINE
The steering column sliding connection may seize on its lower splines. This can cause vertical loading on the clamping bolts and eventually lead to steering failure.
Recall the affected vehicles and replace the steering column lower sliding shaft with a sealed for life version. The clamp bolts will also be renewed.
CHAFING OF HEADLAMP WIRING
The headlamp wiring harness may chafe against the shroud panel and result in possible short circuit with sudden failure of the headlamps.
Recall the affected vehicles and shorten the headlamp wiring harness to eliminate possible chafing on the shroud panel. In cases where the harness has been damaged by chafing the damaged section of wiring will be cut out and replaced together with t
CHASSIS JUNCTION BOX WIRING
Some vehicles have been fitted with chassis junction box connector blocks which are not to the manufacturer's specification. This can result in overloading of the negative link wires and loss of the negative circuit.
Recall and examine all potentially affected vehicles to establish if they have been fitted with the incorrect connector blocks. Where identified these blocks will be replaced with quality assured versions.
DISCONNECTION OF CERTAIN BRAKING SYSTEM PIPE FITTINGS
There is a possibility that certain of the push in pipe connections on the braking system may detach resulting in unscheduled application of the brakes.
Recall the affected vehicles for replacement of the appropriate fittings with compression joints.
INCORRECT BRAKE CALIPERS MAY BE FITTED
In isolated instances a floating caliper may have been installed in combination with a ventilated brake disc at the offside front wheel station. Should this be the case excess caliper movement may occur as pad wear progresses.
Recall the affected vehicles to check for the correct caliper/disc combination replacing any incorrect calipers with the correct version
POSSIBLE LOSS OF WINDSCREEN WIPER ACTION.
The windscreen wiper motor and passenger side wiper arm may be of insufficient strength and could fail under extreme operating conditions with loss of wiper action.
Recall the affected vehicles for replacement of the wiper motor and passenger side wiper arm with modified components.
FRONT SUSPENSION WISHBONE BRACKET
The welding attaching the front suspension lower wishbone bracket to the subframe may be suspect. In extreme conditions this could affect the driving quality of the vehicle.
Recall the affected vehicles and check the integrity of the subject welding. Where this is not to specification the subframe attachment will be reinforced by bolting or in extreme cases the subframe will be changed.
POSSIBLE LOSS OF ELECTRICAL CIRCUITS/HANDBRAKE LEVER MOUNTING BRACKET SECURITY.
A. Potential loss of electrical power in any one of the fuse board circuits e.g. lights or windscreen wipers) due to poor quality soldered connections and possible damage to wiring behind the central console as a result of contact with the heater
A. Replace the fuse board with a quality assured unit and fit a protective clip to the heater controls on all the affected vehicles.

POSSIBLE MISAPPLICATION OF PARKING BRAKE
Insufficient clearance between the ratchet internal mechanism and the handbrake lever sideplates may lead to misapplication of the parking brake resulting in the vehicle not being held.
Recall the affected vehicle for replacement of the original handbrake lever with a revised version.
INSUFFICIENT SECURITY OF THE FUEL FILLER HOSE TO TUBE JOINT
The security of the fuel filler hose to tube joint may be insufficient due to clip size and clamping capability. If ignored fuel leakage may occur.
Replace the original hose clip with an alternative version designed to increase the clamping effect on the hose.
TAILGATE STRUT BRACKETS MAY BEND.
There is a possibility that one or both of the brackets which attach the tailgate struts to the body 'C' pillars may bend allowing the strut to detach. This could permit the tailgate to close unexpectedly.
Recall the affected vehicles for reinforcement of both strut brackets and replacement of any brackets found to be bent.
POSSIBLE FAILURE OF BOLTS SECURING AXLE TRANSVERSE LOCATING RODS
There is a possibility that the bolts securing the torque rods to their anchorage may fail allowing excess movement of the axle(s)
Recall the affected vehicles for checking of the subject bolts. Replace all 8 bolts within the assembly if any suspect bolts are identified.
