SECURITY OF STEERING UNIVERSAL JOINT
Under certain operating conditions the steering universal joint locking bolt may detach. This would affect directional control of the vehicle.
Recall the affected vehicles for replacement of the steering universal joint.
POSSIBILITY OF AN UNDERBONNET FIRE
A faulty electrical connection at the rear of the alternator can cause arcing with a possible risk of an underbonnet fire.
Recall the affected vehicles for:- A) The installation of a line fuse between the battery and the B+ connection on the alternator. B) Install a non rotational device at the B+ connection at the rear of the alternator. Any B+ cable showing signs of damage
INSECURITY OF CAB MOUNTING CAP BOLTS
There have been instances where the cab mounting cap bolts have been found to be loose.
The affected vehicles are being recalled to have the subject bolts replaced. Any cab mounting brackets found to be cracked will be replaced at the same time.
1)SEAT BELT BUCKLE MAY JAM FOLLOWING NORMAL OPERATION OF PRETENSIONER 2)INVOLUNTARY OPERATION OF DRIVERS AIR BAG
1) The seat belt may jam following normal operation of the seat belt pretensioners in an accident. 2) The drivers airbag may deploy involuntarily.
Recall the affected vehicles and:- 1) Replace the original seat belt buckle and its associated pretensioner control by new Autoliv components. 2) Upgrade the drivers airbag to the latest specification.
AIR BAG WARNING LIGHT
On vehicles equipped with both driver and passenger air bags unscheduled illumination of the air bag warning light may occur in conditions of low ambient temperature.
Recall the affected vehicles for the fitment of a modified computer to the air bag system

Recall the affected vehicles for the fitment of a modified computer to the air bag system
POSSIBLE LOSS OF STEERING CONTROL
The steering box extension may have been omitted during build. In consequence the steering shaft could pull off the steering box when the cab is tilted resulting in loss of steering.
Recall the affected vehicles and where required fit the extension to the steering box. At the same time new clamp bolts and nuts will be fitted to the steering shaft assemblies.
FAILURE OF REAR SPRINGS
Instances of breakage of the rear springs have occurred with adverse affect on the location of the rear axle.
Truck-Alignment Co Ltd are writing to all end users of these vehicles advising the operators to:- A) Carry out an immediate inspection of the rear suspension. B) Contact the convertor via a proforma regarding a modification which will involve rep
SECURITY OF ROOF RACK
Under certain loading conditions or as a result of incorrect installation the roof rack may become loose and fall from the vehicle.
Owners who have purchased the subject roof racks are being contacted by Toyota dealers and requested to take the vehicles back for the fitment of improved clamps to the roof rack system.
SECURITY OF FRONT AXLE CARRIER BOLTS
On the subject vehicles the wheel carrier bolts on each front hub may not have been tightened to the specified torque. This could result in detachment of the road wheel.
Dennis Specialist Vehicles have written to the operators of all potentially affected vehicles advising that the carrier bolts should be checked and tightened where necessary to ensure adherence to the manufacturers specification.
POSSIBLE DISINTEGRATION OF TURBOCHARGER
There have been instances where the turbocharger shaft wheel assembly has been ground to the incorrect tolerances. This may cause the turbocharger to disintegrate into small pieces.
Recall the affected vehicles for replacement of the turbochargers with quality assured units.
BRAKING SYSTEM MAY NOT OPERATE
As a result of a small dimensional error the Bowden cable which actuates the braking system could detach. Should this occur the braking system would fail to operate.
The affected caravans are being recalled to have the subject cables replaced with quality assured versions.
LOSS OF TYRE PRESSURE
In high stress conditions the tyres fitted to the subject vehicles may lose pressure. The tyres concerned are Michelin size 225/60R 1698W CXKA.
The affected vehicles are being recalled to Audi dealers to allow the tyres to be identified and replaced where appropriate.
POSSIBLE DISINTEGRATION OF AIR DRYER
Desiccant granules in the Haldex air dryer can become pulverised and cause an internal blockage in the unit. The consequent pressure increase in the dryer may cause the unit to explode.
Recall the affected vehicles and depending on chassis type either:- A) On 4500 Series fit a ping tank between the compressor and the air dryer and change the desiccant cartridge. In addition a tamper proof safety valve will be fitted to the dryer

Recall the affected vehicles to have the tyre ply ratings checked and where necessary to have correctly rated tyres fitted.
VARIOUS - BRAKE AND CLUTCH RELATED
1) Due to a defect in the clutch master cylinder the clutch may not disengage. 2) Water ingress to brake servo. 3) The front brake hoses may be incorrectly routed and could in some circumstances contact the retaining bracket nut. 4) Possible contamination
Recall the affected vehicles and:- 1) Check build date and replace clutch master cylinder where required. 2) Fit a water shield to the brake servo to protect the servo push rod. 3) Check the routing of the front brake hoses re-routing where required.
POSSIBLE FAILURE OF WHEEL CHAIR LIFT PLATFORM
The wheel chair lift may collapse due to weld failure. Whilst this is likely to be restricted to a particular batch of units the manufacturer will rework all the subject lifts as a precautionary measure.
The end user will be advised by the manufacturer to take affected vehicles to Ratcliff agents for inspection and if required modification.
TYRE MAY LOSE PRESSURE
Possibility that the tyres may progressively lose pressure in service due to breaching of thin spots in the tyre inner liner.
Recall potentially affected tyres and replace with quality assured units.
