REAR BRAKE CALIPER MAY BECOME DETACHED
There is a possibility that the rear brake caliper mounting bolts may become loose. This could cause the rear brake caliper to become detached and the rear brake becoming inoperative. In extreme cases the rear brake caliper may become entangled in the rear wheel possibly causing loss of control and a possible accident.
Recall affected machines to slacken and retorque rear caliper retaining bolts.

THE AIR BAG ELECTRICAL CONTROL UNIT FIXATION SCREWS MAY BE OF INSUFFICIENT LENGTH
The screws retaining the Air Bag ECU may be of insufficient length to ensure long term reliability.
Replace the fixing screws with ones of longer length.
OIL PUMP COULD DRAW AIR INTO OIL PUMP INLET - ENGINE FAILURE MAY OCCUR
There is a possibility that the oil pump could draw air into the pump inlet during certain engine running conditions. As a result it may not deliver adequate lubrication to the engine resulting in damage to the con-rod big end bearing. If major damage did occur to the big end bearings this would be accompanied by abnormal engine noise and in the worse case sudden engine failure possibly causing the rear wheel to momentarily lock up disturbing the riders ability to control the motorcycle.
Recall affected machines and fit oil guide plate.

POSSIBILITY OF LOSS OF BRAKE SERVO ASSISTANCE
There is a possibility that the brake servo valve may not function correctly resulting in loss of servo assistance to the braking system.
Recall affected vehicles for the inspection and possible replacement of the brake servo valve.

BRAKE PEDAL ASSEMBLY MAY DISENGAGE
There is a possibility that the nuts securing the support for the brake pedal assembly may be loose or missing with a risk of disengagement of the support and loss of braking control during hard braking.
Recall affected vehicles and if required replace or tighten the nuts on the pedal return support.

POSSIBLE LOSS OF SERVO ASSISTANCE
There is a possibility of a crack appearing in the ninety degree union connecting the vacuum hose to the brake servo unit which may result in loss of servo assistance.
Recall affected vehicles and replace union with modified type.
FUEL HOSE MAY LEAK
The protective sleeve on the fuel hose from the fuel filter to the throttle assembly may not prevent damage to the hose by rubbing against the fuel pump plate. A fuel leak might occur with a risk of fire.
Recall affected motorcycles to replace the fuel hose with a modified type.
FRONT DAMPER LOWER MOUNTING BRACKET MAY DETACH
There is a possibility that the front damper lower mounting bracket may detach due to insufficient welding and displaced damper may restrict steering action.
Recall affected vehicles and check that damper mounting bracket is butt welded on all three sides. If not replace bracket.

POSSIBILITY OF AIR FILTER FIRE
Possibility that the engine air filter element may be ignited by the ingress of burning material.
Recall the affected vehicles and fit a modified rain cap which will include a fine mesh spark guard to the air filter.
