DVLA recall archive
The archive holds 15,570 DVLA vehicle safety recalls dating back to 1992. Filter by manufacturer, year, or keyword. To check whether a specific vehicle is affected by an outstanding recall, run a live VRM recall check for £1.99.
Showing 13876–13900 of 15,570 recalls.
POSSIBILITY OF AN OIL LEAK.
During cold starts the oil pressure relief valve may not respond quickly enough thus allowing excess pressure to build up causing the bottom of the oil filter to deform. This can cause oil to leak from the filter with the potential of a slip type accident.
Recall likely to be affected machines and fit a replacement oil filter.
POSSIBILITY THAT STEERING RACK FIXING BOLTS MAY BECOME LOOSE
The possibility exists that steering rack fixing bolts may become loose which may result in impaired steering control
Affected vehicles will be recalled and the subject bolts replaced with quality assured items.
POSSIBILE FAULT IN THE DSC YAW RATE SENSOR
Due to a possible manufacturing error the damping element of the Directional Stability Control (DSC) yaw rate sensor could be faulty.
Recall the affected vehicles check the batch number and replace if necessary.
ROOF BARS MAY SLIP
Possibility that roof bars may slip when bulky objects are placed on them
Recall affected vehicles and replace roof bars with modified type.
POSSIBILE FAULT IN THE DSC YAW RATE SENSOR
Due to a possible manufacturing error the damping element of the Directional Stability Control (DSC) yaw rate sensor could be faulty.
Recall the affected vehicles check the batch number and replace if necessary.
POSSIBILITY OF AN OIL LEAK
Possible leakage of hydraulic oil from high pressure hose - hydro pump to fan drive hydromotor
Recall likely to be affected vehicles and fit a quality assured replacement hose
POSSIBILITY THAT EGR SUPPORT BRACKET MAY BREAK
There is a possibility that the EGR support bracket may break and cause a short circuit which may stop the engine.
Recall affected vehicles and replace EGR bracket.
BATTERY MAY BECOME DETACHED
Cracking of the leisure battery tray may occur such that the battery may fall onto the carriageway.
Recall likely to be affected vehicles and replace the original battery tray with a strengthened version.
REAR LEFT BRAKE PIPE MAY BECOME DAMAGED.
There is a possibility that the rear left brake pipe may become damaged by contact with the rear suspension coupling rod.
Recall affected vehicles inspect brake pipe for damage to protective coating and replace and/or reposition if necessary.
POSSIBLE RUPTURE OF HIGH PRESSURE FUEL DELIVERY PIPES
There is a possibility that due to a manufacturing defect the high pressure fuel delivery pipes may rupture and leak fuel
Recall affected vehicles and replace fuel pipes with quality assured type
POSSIBILITY THAT FEED OR RETURN FUEL LINE QUICK CONNECTORS MAY NOT FULLY RE-ENGAGE.
There is a possibility that following disconnection the potential exists for either the fuel feed or return fuel line quick connectors to not fully re-engage
Recall affected vehicles remove plastic quick-release collar from the connector fully re-engage and fit safety clip
PARKING BRAKE MAY OPERATE INADVERTENTLY
The plastic pipe where the union on the relay valve for the parking brake is located can loosen and lead to involuntary application of the brakes
Recall affected vehicles inspect the relevant plastic pipes and replace the insert connection if faulty
STEERING WHEEL CENTRE SCREW MAY NOT HAVE BEEN TIGHTENED CORRECTLY.
The steering wheel centre screw may not have been tightened correctly.
Replace the centre torx screw and tighten to the specified torque.
STEERING WHEEL CENTRE SCREW MAY NOT HAVE BEEN TIGHTENED CORRECTLY.
The steering wheel centre screw may not have been tightened correctly.
Replace the centre torx screw and tighten to the specified torque.
POSSIBLE FAULT IN THE LOCKING MECHANISM OF THE FRONT SEAT RECLINER.
The front seat recliner locking mechanism could have abnormal free play which may result in an unsatisfactory locking function. Because the seat belt is integrated in the seat back failure of the locking mechanism would affect the crash safety protection.
Check the front seat production number and where necessary install a new seat assembly.
RISK OF FIRE - HEATER BLOWER MODULE
There is a possibility of defective components in the heater blower which could cause a short circuit and loss of ventilation of the passenger compartment and in an extreme condition could set fire to the wiring harness.
Recall affected vehicles and replace heater blower module
WIRING LOOM MAY CHAFE AND LEFT SEAT CONSOLE MAY NOT WITHSTAND SEVERE REAR CRASH
The foot operated parking brake can chafe on the main wiring loom the left seat console may not withstand a severe rear crash because of faulty welding and on some vehicles with a V^ petrol engine an additional earth connection must be fitted to the fuel tank
Recall affected vehicles fit anti chafing protection to foot operated parking brake check and if necessary replace left seat console and fit additional earth connection to the fuel tank filler neck
FRONT FORKS MAY NOT RETURN TO NORMAL RIDE POSITION.
An out of tolerance internal spacer within the front forks can if it reaches maximum compression not return to its original position. This could cause difficulties in control of the machine.
Recall the affected machines and replace the internal spacer with the correct specification one.
HANDBRAKE EFFICIENCY MAY BE REDUCED.
The handbrake adjustment system may be unreliable which will reduce its efficiency under certain conditions.
Check adjust and/or replace the brake shoe mechanisms.
AUTO GEARBOX MAY ENGAGE REVERSE WHEN IN FORWARD DRIVE.
(a) In conditions of low oil pressure or a sticking valve in the gearbox with the vehicle stationary in Drive the gearbox will without warning or indication select Reverse. (b) With the vehicle moving forward in 1st 2nd or 3rd gear reverse may be selected without any manual input in the event of a loss of oil pressure in the transmission.
Reprogramme the gearbox gear selector module.
REAR BRAKE PEDAL WELD CONCERN
An out of specification weld on the rear brake pedal may fail. In the worst case this could cause the brake to be ineffective when the pedal is applied.
Recall potentially affected machines and fit a new rear brake pedal.

HANDBRAKE CONTROL BUTTON FAULTY
Parking Brake release button may become detached
Recall affected vehicles check operational functionality and if found to be faulty replace handbrake assembly.
SEAT BELT MAY NOT LATCH
It is possible that the driver and/or front seat passenger seat belt buckle cannot be latched or will not remain latched.
Fit new seat belts where necessary.
