GRID RELAY MAY OVERHEAT WITH A POSSIBILITY OF FIRE.
The engine grid relay may overheat with the possibility of a fire.
Recall all effected vehicles and replace with a modified relay.
TRACK ROD NUT MAY NOT BE TORQUED CORRECTLY AND BECOME LOOSE
During manufacture the steering track rod locking nuts may been tightened to an insufficient torque. As a result the attachment of the track rod may become loose.
Recalled vehicles will have the track rod locking nuts replaced on both the left and right hand sides.
HANDBRAKE MAY FAIL
The handbrake may not fully engage and a sudden release of the handbrake potentially allowing the vehicle to 'run away' cannot be ruled out.
Recall the likely to be affected vehicles and replace the handbrake lever and the push button.
TYRES MAY DEFLATE INADVERTENTLY
The valves fitted to the wheels may be of incorrect specification. This can result in rapid deflation of the tyre.
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected. Check and where necessary replace the valve.
PROPSHAFT MAY DETACH FROM VEHICLE
Insufficient torque may have been applied to the propshaft securing bolts during production and this could lead to vibration. If the concern is not rectified the propshaft may detach from the vehicle.
Affected vehicles will be recalled and inspected if necessary the propshaft securing bolts will be replaced.

Affected vehicles will be recalled and inspected if necessary the propshaft securing bolts will be replaced.
STEERING SHAFT MAY CORRODE
Moisture may penetrate the steering shaft and cause corrosion
Recall all likely to be affected vehicles. Check steering shaft. If moisture has penetrated shaft replace shaft.
TRACK ROD COULD BECOME DETACHED
The dust covers which protect the track rod end ball joints may not seal correctly and allow the ingress of water and dirt. As a result the ball joint can wear and cause excessive play in the steering. In extreme cases the track rod could become detached with the consequence that the directional control of the vehicle will be affected.
Recalled vehicles will have the track rod ends replaced with modified units.
POSSIBILITY THAT AN ARM MAY BECOME TRAPPED IN THE DOOR
It is possible in certain circumstances for a person to trap their arm between the fully open door and a stanchion.
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected and fit a partition in the gap between stantion and body that only allows a hand to grasp the stanchion.
BUCKLE MAY NOT BE RETAINED
Some vehicles may have been manufactured with a seat belt buckle mounting with a tensile strength below the required standard. If in the event of an accident where the rear left second row seat belt was being used the buckle may not be fully retained.
Recall the affected vehicles inspect and replace seat belt buckle where required.
THE PARKING FUNCTION OF THE AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION MAY NOT OPERATE CORRECTLY
Due to the presence of an out of specification component within the automatic gearbox parking brake interlock system. The parking function may not fully engage when the operating lever is moved to park despite all indicators showing that park has been achieved. If the parking brake is not applied the vehicle may roll away.
Recalled vehicles will have the out of specification component replaced with a quality assured item.

Recall the affected vehicles inspect and replace seat belt buckle where required.
REAR BRAKE CALIPER UNION BOLT MAY LEAK
The rear brake caliper union bolt contacts the rear stabiliser which may cause the union to leak with the consequence that brake performance may be reduced.
Recalled vehicles will be fitted with a stabiliser clamp which will restrict movement.

FUEL MAY LEAK
Due to a non-conformity in manufacture there is a risk of damage to the fuel tank in some vehicles leading to a fuel leak under certain circumstances.
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected. Remove and inspect the fuel tank. Where necessary replace the fuel tank.
ABS MAY NOT FUNCTION
The wiring to the ABS modulator unit may chafe which could result in the ABS system not functioning and the ABS warning lamp illuminating.
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected and inspect the wiring. Where neccessary repair the wiring and in all cases fit a protective sleeve to the wiring.
STEERING ARM BOLTS BECOME LOOSE
New longer bolts were fitted during a recall where spacer plates were fitted between the steering arms and their mountings. It is thought that on some vehicles the bolts were not correctly torqued and therefore there is a possibility that they could become loose.
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected so that the bolts can be inspected if necessary replaced and correctly torqued.
SHORT CIRCUIT MAY OCCUR/RISK OF FIRE
Repeated ingress of saline water into the connections to the Electronic Control Unit for the Anti- Lock Braking system may eventually result in a short circuit that could cause a fire in the engine compartment.
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to check the ABS block and strengthen the sealing of the electrical connections.
CORROSION OF ELECTRICAL CONNECTION WHICH COULD CAUSE A SHORT CIRCUIT
It is necessary to check and reinforce the sealing of the electrical connections for the ABS system. As under certain conditions the repeated entry of salt water into this connection could cause short circuits which may lead to a fire within the engine compartment
Recalled vehicles will have numerous checks carried out and repairs completed dependent upon what is found.
THE HEATED WINDSCREEN FUSES MAY OVERHEAT
There is insufficient surface area on the removable link between the two 30 amp heated windscreen fuses. This can resulting in the fuses being overheated.
Recalled vehicles will have a new connection made between the fuse holder pins.

BATTERY GROUND CABLE MAY SHORT CIRCUIT
The battery positive cable may be in conflict with the starter motor solenoid. If a conflict does develop a short circuit of the battery ground cable will occur. This may result in smoke appearing from under the bonnet or a failure to start with warning lamps illuminated.
Recalled vehicles will have the distance between the battery positive cable checked and adjusted if the clearance is less than 4mm.
