CAB MAY SHUDDER UNDER EXTREME OPERATING CONDITIONS
Possibility that front Cab mounting bolts may be missing resulting in that Cab may shudder under extreme operating conditions.
Recall affected vehicles and fit new Cab mounting bolts
GEARBOX HEAT SHIELD IS NOT AS PER SPECIFICATION
The incorrect gearbox heat shield has been assembled which does not fulfil the manufacturers demand regarding fire resistance.
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to replace the heat shield.
SEAT BELT STALK MAY FAIL
The possibility exists that the seatbelt stalk mountings may fail inder extreme load conditions.
Recalled vehicles will have the seatbelt stalk attachment bracket bolted directly to the seat frame.
STEERING MAY FAIL
It has been identified that a number of vehicles have been fitted with a defective drag link. This has the potential to cause the steering to fail.
Affected vehicles will have the drag link replaced.
FRONT SUSPENSION CROSS MEMBER MAY FRACTURE
It has been identified that the chassis front cross member may have a weld which does not conform to specification. This may lead to a creaking noise being heard under braking and could in time lead to the cross member cracking in the area of it's mounting to the vehicle's body.
Recalled vehicles will have the front cross member replaced.
UNINDENTED APPLICATION OF THE BRAKES
It has been identified that in some cases overlapping of tolerances has the potential to make the black button of the PREV to stick in the pushed-in position when the trailer is coupled to the tractor unit. When this malfunction occurs the red warning lamp or signal for the trailer braking system on the dashboard of the truck will alert the driver that the reservoir air pressure in the trailer is dropping below 4.5 Bar. If this pressure falls below 2.5 Bar this will cause unintended braking of the vehicle.
To address the concern Wabco under the terms of the Code will contact customers who will be provided with a valve repair kit.
FUEL LEAK MAY OCCUR
On subject vehicles the fitting of the diesel high pressure delivery pipe may be constricted. Should this be the case a fuel leak may occur.
Recalled vehicles will have the subject pipe checked and changed if found to be fitted incorrectly.
BRAKES MAY FAIL
Under certain conditions there is a possibility that one of the two brake circuits may fail.
Recall the vehicle that are likely to be affected to replace the brake master cylinder.
WEIGHT INFORMATION LABEL HAS BEEN SUPPLIED WITH INCORRECT INFORMATION
On subject vehicles it has been identified that the wrong information has been given on the product label in respect of the maximum permitted front axle weight.
Recalled vehicles will have the label (which is a legal requirement) replaced.
CAB HEATER DOES NOT MEET LEGLISLATION REQUIREMENTS
Some ADR vehicles have a common cab heater assembled instead of a cab heater for ADR vehicles. Because of this the ADR vehicles do not fulfil the ADR Regulations.
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to replace the cab heater if the vehicle has been fitted with the wrong specification heater.

Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to replace the cab heater if the vehicle has been fitted with the wrong specification heater.
POSSIBLE LOSS OF STEERING
The possibility exists that the steering input shaft may be incorrectly secured to the steering rack. This is a situation which if left un-rectified could lead to steering failure.
Subject vehicles will have the presence of the steering shaft retaining screw and green marker paint (indicating the correct tightening torque for the screw) checked. If the screw or paint mark are missing the situation will be rectified to conform to specification.
TRACK ROD BALL JOINT CLAMP BOLT MAY NOT BE TO THE CORRECT TORQUE
It has been identified that the torque setting of the track rod ball joint clamp bolts may be insufficient.
Recalled vehicles will have the clamp bolts checked and re-torqued as necessary.
REAR DOOR SAFETY LOCK INSTRUCTIONS IN MANUAL INCORRECT.
Due to a printing error in the Owner's Manual and Quick Reference Guide the operation of the rear door child safety locks is incorrectly detailed. As a consequence the driver may not operate the door child safety locks correctly.
Recalled vehicles will have the information pertaining to the operation of the rear door child safety locks updated.
2ND ROW SEAT BACKREST MAY NOT LATCH CORRECTLY
The back-rest of the 2nd seat row may not completely latch in. In an accident this could increase the risk of injury because the seat belts are attached to the back-rest.
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to replace the bowden cable of the double seat bench.
OIL LEAKAGE MAY OCCUR
It has been identified that frequent short trip usage at low ambient temperatures causes condensation in the engine oil this condenses at the outlet port of the oil-tank breather. If temperature falls below 0 degrees Celsius this may cause condesate to freeze and block the breather line to the oil tank. The engine's lubrication system configuration means that the suction pump's oil delivery rate is higher than that of the delivery pump consequently the over pressure produced can cause the oil tank to rupture allowing oil to escape and contaminate the rear tyre.
Recalled machines will have the oil tank cap replaced.
PADS MAY SPARK UNDER BRAKING
When the brakes are applied sparks emanate from the brake pads.
Recall the ADR and IP regulation vehicles that are likely to be affected to replace the brake pads.
ENGINE MAY STALL
It has been identified that on affected machines the fuel hose may detach from either the fuel pump or the filter. This can result in the engine failing to start or stalling.
Affected machines will have the fuel hose clips tightened to a modified torque setting.
HEATED WINDSCREEN EARTH POINT MAY NOT BE TIGHTENED - RISK OF BURN DAMAGE TO TRIM
It has been identified that on subject vehicles the heated windscreen earthing point may not have been tightened to the specified torque. An incorrect torque may lead to electrical arcing and in extreme cases this arcing may cause scorching or burning of the surrounding trim components.
Recalled vehicles will have the subject earthing point inspected for correct installation and torque.

BATTERY TERMINALS MAY SHORT AGAINST BATTERY COVER
It is possible that under normal riding conditions a battery securing bolt may loosen allowing the battery to move. This can lead to the protective boot on the battery postive abrading through and shorting on the battery cover causing sparks and possibly fire.
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to replace the centre battery securing bolt with a new bolt that has a locking patch on the threads.
ELECTRICAL SHORT CIRCUIT MAY OCCUR
Some electrical plugs connected to the battery master switch may have been fitted with inadequate sealing to prevent water ingress to the electrical terminals. Water ingress in this area can lead to a total loss of vehicle electicals.
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to water proof the affected terminals.
