NO WARNING SIGNAL TO THE DRIVER WHEN TRAILER DIRECTION INDICATOR LAMPS FAIL.
It has been identified that the possibility exists that the driver will not receive a warning signal should the trailer direction indicator lamp/s fail.
Recalled vehicles will have the trailer lighting control unit replaced.
TAILGATE MAY CLOSE WITHOUT WARNING
It has been identified that the power operated tailgate may close abruptly and unexpectedly following opening using the power function.
Recalled vehicle will have the tailgate motors replaced.
HEAD AIRBAG MAY FAIL TO ACTIVATE UNDER CERTAIN COLLISION CONDITIONS.
It has been identified that some SEAT vehicles fitted with right hand drive head airbag equipment due to an assembly error in the wiring may experience incorrect head airbag activation under certain collision conditions.
Recalled vehicles will have the subject wiring connections checked and corrected if necessary.
ENGINE MAY STALL
It has been identified that the engine from time to time may stall when at idle.
Recalled vehicles will have the engine ECU re-programmed which will raise the engine RPM at idle.
ENGINE MAY FAIL
The engine may overheat because the water pump impeller shaft is of incorrect length and does not engage drive from the timing layshaft.
Recall the machines that are likely to be affected to check the engagement of the water pump impeller shaft and where necessary replace the water pump assembly.
ANTI-ROLL BAR BUSH WEAR
It has been identified that the front anti-roll bar bushes may wear after a period of time. Should this occur noise will be generated by contact between the anti-roll bar and the metal sleeve of the bush.
Recalled vehicles will have the front anti-roll bar replaced.
FRONT RIGHT HAND TYRE MAY FAIL
It has been identified that during production the right-hand front tyre may have suffered damage to the inside face.
Recalled vehicles will have the subject tyre checked for damage and replaced as necessary.
BRAKES MAY ENGAGE WHILST DRIVING
It has been identified that the rear spring brake chambers may have possibly seal damage which can cause the brake to apply whilst the vehicle is being driven.
Recalled vehicles will have the spring brake chambers changed.
ENGINE MAY NOT REMAIN AT IDLE SPEED
Gear engagement from neutral and low speed control of the machine could be affected by the idle speed control valve being of incorrect specification
Recall the machines that are likely to be affected to replace the idle speed control valve and to reprogramme the Electronic Control Module.
REAR AXLE LEAF SPRING MOUNTING MAY CRACK
It has been identified that on a limited number of vehicles the rear axle leaf spring mountings may crack or fracture. Should this occur vehicle stability could be affected.
Recalled vehicles will be inspected and repaired as required.
STEERING CONTROL MAY BE LOST
The retaining ring of the steering gear pinion might be out of it's retaining groove. In the worst case the steering gear pinion may lose engagement resulting in loss of steering control
Recall affected vehicles and replace steering gear assembly
RISK OF FIRE
It has been identified that the intercooler has been improperly designed. This may allow the intercooler to come apart in use causing an improper mixture ratio of air/fuel in the diesel particulate filter. In the worst case the particulate filter may ignite.
Recalled vehicles will be fitted with an engine intercooler attachment assembly.
HANDBRAKE MAY FAIL
It is possible that the parking brake cable end could detach from the trailing brake shoe lever rendering the parking brake ineffective.
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to refit or replace the cables.
STEERING CONTROL MAY BE LOST
The retaining ring of the steering gear pinion might be out of it's retaining groove. In the worst case the steering gear pinion may lose engagement resulting in loss of steering control
Recall affected vehicles and replace steering gear assembly
WIRING HARNESS MAY CHAFE RESULTING IN POSSIBLE LOSS OF ENGINE POWER
It has been identified that due to improper insulation of a branch of the engine wiring harness. The possibility exists that the harness can chafe on the cam cover securing bolt and sustain damage. Should this occur a possible sudden loss of engine power might ensue.
Subject vehicles will have the engine wiring harness inspected and repaired as necessary before being fitted with a protective cover.
RISK OF FIRE
It has been identified that due to an improper design of the intercooler inlet hose there is a possibility that the air/fuel mixture ratio may be incorrect within the diesel particulate filter assembly. This in the worst case may cause the diesel particulate filter to ignite.
Recalled vehicles will be fitted with a modified intercooler hose.
STEERING CONTROL MAY BE LOST
The retaining ring of the steering gear pinion might be out of it's retaining groove. In the worst case the steering gear pinion may lose engagement resulting in loss of steering control
Recall affected vehicles and replace steering gear assembly
REDUCTION OF FRONT BRAKE EFFICIENCY
Vibration on a long ride at a constantly high engine speed can under certain circumstances causing foaming of the brake fluid in the reservoir of the front brakes. The possibility therefore of this foaming causing air to enter into the braking system cannot be excluded. Should air enter the system the efficiency of the front brakes can diminish severely dependant upon the volume of air which has entered the system.
Recalled machines will have the front brake system bled and a damper weight installed in the front brake fluid reservoir.
THERMISTER POTENTIAL FIRE HAZARD WHEN CHARGING
There has been an incident where a vehicle caught fire whilst parked and charging due to a problem with the charging unit.
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to replace the thermistor fit an additional thermal cut out inside the charger and to replace the existing charger cover for one with fire retardant properties.
STEERING COLUMN UNIVERSAL JOINTS MAY BE INSECURE
It has been identified that the steering column universal joints may not have been correctly assembled to the steering column.
Subject vehicles will be checked to ensure the joints have been assembled and correctly installed should this be found to be necessary.

ELECTRONIC STABILITY PROGRAMME MAY BE DISABLED
Due to an anomaly in the ABS/ASR software the Electronic Stability Programme may be disabled. The condition only occurs with the ignition in Key on position and the vehicle battery in a low state of charge
Recall affected vehicles and replace ABS/ASR ECU.
