FIRE MAY OCCUR
It has been identified that the possibility exists; for the engine compartment cover seal to become dislodged during service. Should this occur the seal could fall onto the engine causing a fire.
Recalled vehicles will have the engine compartment cover seal checked for security and condition. It will be renewed as necessary or refitted using an adhesive.
ENGINE MOUNTING MAY FAIL UNDER SUDDEN ACCELERATION
It has been identified that the number 4 engine mounting bolt may not have been tightened to the correct torque during production. This could result in the engine mounting failing under sudden acceleration.
Recalled vehicles will have the mounting bolt checked for compliance. Should the torque on the subject bolt be found to be outside of the specification. The appropriate action as described in the technical instruction will be applied as necessary.
POWER STEERING MAY FAIL WITH ENSUING RISK OF FIRE
It has been established thatthe high pressure connection to the power assisted steering pump could detach. Should this incur loss of steering assistance would ensue. Additionally hydraulic fluid could leak onto the exhaust with the attendant risk of fire.
To prevent such an occurrence recalled vehicles will have the subject power assisted steering pipe fitted with a retaining collar.

INADEQUATE AIRBAG TRIGGERING IN THE EVENT OF A SIDE IMPACT
It has been identified that there has been a left to right inversion of the side impact sensor wiring which in certain cases may result in inadequate deployment of the airbags in the event of a side impact.
Recalled vehicles will have the airbag ECU replaced.
HANDBRAKE MAY PARTIALLY RELEASE
Following a small number of complaints of Vauxhall Vectra and Signum vehicles rolling away due to allegedly defective handbrakes. Vauxhall engineers in conjunction with consultants and other bodies have conducted rigorous testing and found that provided the handbrake is applied correctly without depressing the release button the handbrake is perfectly safe.
In line with it's priority of continuous improvement recalled vehicles will be fitted with a modified handbrake mechanism to reduce the possibility of a partial release.
SUNROOF MAY DETACH
Failure of either the left or right side guide rail could cause the sun roof to become detached from its operating mechanism and bind. In certain circumstances the glass panel can become detached.
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to install retention inserts to both sides of the glass panel guide rails.

STEERING MAY BE LOST
It is possible that some vehicles may have the steering hydraulic pipework mounted and secured incorrectly. In the worst case the pipework could fracture and result in the loss of power assistance to the steering.
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to where necessary reposition the pipe and re-secure it in a different place.
BATTERY POSITIVE CABLE MAY CHAFE AND SHORT CIRCUIT
The battery main positive cable may become stuck between the chassis and the helmet compartment if not rectified the cable may chafe on the metal components and ultimately short circuit.
Recall affected machines and reroute the cable.

Recall affected machines and reroute the cable.
AXLE SHAFT MAY DETACH
Excessive axle shaft end play which can be identified by excessive noise and changes in vehicle handling could possibly if not detected lead to detachment of the axle shaft retaining clip and result in the shaft 'walking out' of the axle.
Recall all affected vehicle for the replacement of the axle shaft retaining clip by a modified replacement.
TRIM MAY COME LOOSE IN A COLLISON CAUSING INJURY
In an accident where the rear seat belt tensioners are triggered the side pillar trim could protrude into the passenger compartment and cause an increased risk of injury for both the front and rear passengers.
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to replace the front retaining clips on both side pillar trims.
WHEEL MAY CRACK
It has been identified that reports of wheel breakages following impact were higher than was thought to be normal.
To address the concern the importer will contact known retailers and populate the wolfrace.com web site with relevant recall information in an attempt to retrieve subject wheels which will be replaced with a quality assured product.
BRAKES MAY NOT PERFORM EFFECTIVELY
The efficiency of the front brake could be compromised by poor machining of the brake pipes.
Recall the machines that are likely to be affected to replace the brake pipes with a quality assured product.
GEARBOX MAY FAIL
Loss of drive may occur due to gearbox failure.
Recall the machines that are likely to be affected to replace the gearbox with a quality assured unit.
GEARBOX MAY FAIL
Loss of drive may occur due to gearbox failure.
Recall the machines that are likely to be affected to replace the gearbox with a quality assured unit.
5TH WHEEL MAY DECOUPLE
The 5th wheel main locking lever may fracture and release the trailer king pin.
Recall the 5th wheel that are likely to be affected to replace the 5th wheel with a quality assured unit.
TYRE DEFLATION MAY RESULT IN LOSS OF DIRECTIONAL CONTROL
It has been identified that the subject tyres have failed to comply with the requirements of 49CFR 571.139 S6.3.2 (a) in that the test tyre developed a bulge in the lower sidewall on the whitewall side which indicates the presence of a separation between the two lower sidewall components. Should this go undetected loss of inflation medium may occur which can result in a loss of directional control.
Owners of the recall subject tyres will be contacted; and the tyres replaced.
STEERING MAY BECOME STIFF
It has been identified that a problem may arise with the steering mechanism which can result in hardness whilst manoeuvring.
Recalled vehicles will have the steering mechanism checked and lubricated. The mechanism will be replaced if found to be damaged. At the same time certain vehicles will have key components reinforced against the ingress of water. Thus preventing operating faults in the long term.
SEAT BELT MAY NOT BEEN TORQUED CORRECTLY
One or more screws holding the outer rear seat belts may not have been torqued correctly. This could lead to the seat belt not being as affective as it could be in an accident.
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to re torque the mounting bolts.

Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to re torque the mounting bolts.
PRE-HEAT RELAY MAY STICK AND OVERHEAT
The pre-heat relay may become stuck in the closed position which could cause an over heating of the relay. If action is not taken to rectify this issue then there is the potential in extreme cases that the risk of fire could occur.
Recall all affected vehicles and disconnect the relay.

SHORT CIRCUIT MAY OCCUR
It has been identified that the main switch can crack which can cause an electrical short circuit.
Recalled vehicles will have initially had the subject switch disconnected. However an exchange switch has now been mae availagble to all customers who require it and will be fitted free of charge.
