STEERING FUNCTION MAY BE AFFECTED
It has been identified that there have been reported incidents of an internal defect within the steering boxes of subject military vehicles. In that when the steering is turned to the right suction can drain the oil tank on circuit 1 at the same time causing the oil tank on circuit 2 to overflow. This occurs vice versa on RHD vehicles. It is believed that if left un-rectified the ability to steer the vehicle in the intended direction may be affected.
Recalled vehicles will have the steering boxes reworked.
REAR SEAT CUSHION MAY BECOME INSECURE
Following a manufacturing issue the rear sear cushion fixings may become damaged and the cushion may not stay in place
Recall affected vehicles and replace rear seat cushion fixings
ELECTRONICS MAY NOT BE FULLY FUNCTIONAL
The full functionality of the vehicles electronics which includes the safety systems cannot be guaranteed. This is a result of incorrect software being transmitted to a number of vehicles.
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to re-perform the software (SCN) coding to the control unit.
CHAIN CAN DE-RAIL
The bicycle's chainguard if pushed against the chain can derail the chain.
Recall the machines that are likely to be affected to replace the chainguard.
SUSPENSION MAY BECOME INSECURE
It has been identified that a potential concern exists with the drag link to drop link bolt drag link to frame bolt and the drag link to rear suspension unit bolt which could result in the bolts fracturing.
Recalled machines will have the subject bolts replaced with quality assured items. Additionally the bearings will be checked for wear and will be replaced as necessary together with the seals and bearing sleeves.
HALFSHAFT AND DRIVE MAY DISENGAGE WITHOUT WARNING.
The rear axle hub may loosen and allow the half shaft to disengage from the wheel hub.
Recall affected vehicles and inspect hub nuts for crimping around the circumference. If crimping is missing replace nuts.
FRONT BRAKE CALIPER MAY BECOME INSECURE
The front brake caliper fixing screws are not to standard (non - conforming) and may slacken
Recall affected vehicles and replace fixing screws with approved type.
REAR BRAKE PIPES COULD FAIL RESULTING IN A PARTIAL BRAKE SYSTEM LOSS.
It has been identified that there may be insufficient clearance between the steering shaft and the rear brake pipes. Prolonged contact may result in the pipe becoming holed resulting in a partial loss of the braking system.
Recalled vehicles will have the brake pipes inspected and replaced if necessary. In every case an additional retaining clip will be installed.
EXCESSIVE TRAVEL OF PARKING BRAKE LEVER. PARKING BRAKE PERFORMANCE AFFECTED
Parking brake assy; guide plates may separate allowing parking brake cable to move within the guide plates resulting in excess travel at lever and incorrect tension in cables.
Recall affected vehicles and replace parking brake lever assembly.
REAR SEAT BELT PERFORMANCE MAY BE AFFECTED
It has been identified that due to the possibility of a non conformance during production the rear seat belt D-loop assembly may not be free to rotate. In the event of a medium to high severity impact this inability of the D-loop to rotate can limit the performance of the rear seat belt system
Recalled vehicles will have the rear seat belt D- loop assemblies checked for freedom of rotation. If freedom of rotation is not present a predetermined repair will be implemented.
AIRBAG MAY DEPLOY INADVERTENTLY
It has been identified that due to an incorrect routing of the passenger side airbag wiring harness the potential exists that the passenger side airbag might deploy when the ignition is switched on.
Recalled vehicles will have the wiring harness re-routed and fitted with a harness protector.
COOLANT MAY LEAK
It has been identified that the coolant water hose retainer may break due to vibration generated at high engine revs resulting in coolant leakage. In the worst case hot coolant may be splashed onto the rider which may result in scalding.
Recalled machines will have all potentially affected parts replaced with a countermeasure retainer.
FINAL DRIVE MAY BECOME UNSUPPORTED
It has been identified that the possibility exists that the front threaded fastener of the paralever link may become insecure. In the worst case the screw could fall away resulting in the final drive being unsupported.
Recalled machines will have the subject screw replaced.
BODY SECURITY DOOR AND INTERIOR FIXING ISSUES
It has been identified that the following require attention 1) the centre pole needs to be replaced and a new bottom plate fitted 2) insufficient adhesive may have been applied to the roof support bracket 3) the rear door retaining nut may work loose 4) the horse tie point eye bolt requires to be fitted with a burst ring 5) the rear pillar trim may slip 6) the front ramp gas strut bracket may be insecure.
The above will be rectified as necessary.
REAR CROSS MEMBER WELDING MAY CRACK
It has been identified that the possibility exists that a non conforming weld may be present on the vehicle's rear cross member with the fixing bracket for the wheel axle hub. This non conformity in time; could cause the weld to break and crack the rear cross member which could have an adverse effect on the vehicle's stability.
Recalled vehicles will have the subject cross member identification numbers and weld markings checked; to ascertain whether they conform. Should this not be the case the cross member will be replaced.

BRAKE SHOES MAY DE-BOND RESULTING IN DECREASED BRAKE PERFORMANCE
It has been identified that a batch of brake lings may be at risk of de-bonding. Should this occur decreased braking performance may result.
The subject material will be recovered from distribution centres and end users as necessary.
RISK OF ENGINE BAY FIRE
It has been identified that; the possibility exists that the fuel injector pipes may fracture leading to spillage of fuel within the engine bay and the risk of fire.
Recalled vehicles will be fitted with a new design of injector pipe manufactured from a different steel alloy.
FUEL TANK COULD INFLATE CAUSING CONTACT WITH THE REAR WHEEL
It has been found that some fuel tank ventilation valves are not to the required specification. This concern could lead to a build up of pressure and the fuel tank expanding. If this happens the tank could come into contact with the rear wheel and wear through.
Recall the machines that are likely to be affect to replace the fuel tank ventilation valve.
ENGINE MAY STALL
The fuel filter shell may crack leading to loss of fuel pressure the result of which may be diminished performance and in some cases an engine stall or a no start condition could result.
Recall affected machines and replace fuel filter shell with modified type.
