FULL FUNCTIONALITY OF THE VEHICLE'S ELECTRONICS CANNOT BE GUARANTEED
It has been identified that due to incorrect software transmission the full functionality of the vehicle's electronics cannot be guaranteed.
Recalled vehicles will have the SCN coding rewritten.
INCREASED BRAKE PEDAL TRAVEL
It has been identified that subject vehicles have been fitted with an incorrect brake master cylinder. This has the effect of the brake pedal having to travel further before the brakes take effect.
Recalled vehicles will have the brake master cylinder replaced.
VEHICLE HANDLING COULD BE AFFECTED
It has been identified that on subject vehicles certain front suspension components have not been correctly tightened. In time this can result in noise additionally affect vehicle handling.
Recalled vehicles will have the subject components tightened.
STEERING COULD BE IMPAIRED
It has been identified that it is possible that the threaded joints on the chassis of subject vehicles may not have been tightened to the prescribed torque. This may result in the screws becoming loose resulting in noises from around the vehicle. Should the screws detach steering control can become impaired.
Recalled vehicles will have the subject joints checked to ensure that they are tightened to the correct torque.

FUEL MAY LEAK
It has been identified that a fuel leak may occur due to the possible detachment of the fuel line from the fuel tank to the engine.
Recalled vehicles will have the fuel line replaced.
FUEL MAY LEAK
It has been identified that a fuel leak may occur due to the possible detachment of the fuel line from the fuel tank to the engine.
Recalled vehicles will have the fuel line replaced.
ENGINE MAY CUT OUT
The double clutch is not operating at the optimum level. This could lead to the engine cutting out at low speeds.
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to programme the necessary control units.
STEERING LINKAGE MAY BECOME DEFECTIVE
Cracking could occur in the steering box drop arm. If the drop arm is not replaced there is a possibility that directional control could be lost.
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to replace the steering box drop arm.
POSSIBLE REDUCTION OF BRAKING EFFICIENCY
It has been identified that the possibility exists that the Duo-Duplex brake adjusting mechanism may non operate correctly. Should this be the case possible loss of front and rear brake adjustment may occur which can result in loss of braking efficiency on both the service and parking brake systems.
Recalled vehicles will have the brake stations of both the front and rear axles fitted with a modified brake adjuster kit.
BOOSTER HEATER -POSSIBILITY THAT VEHICLE MAY CATCH FIRE
It has been identified that the controller circuit of the Positive Temperature Coefficient (PTC) the supplementary cabin heater may short circuit. This normally results in draining of the battery and a non start situation.Additionally the short circuit may lead to a distinct smell from hot/melted components which in extreme circumstances may develop into a fire. It is noted that all of the above symptoms can occur when the vehicle is in use or parked unattended.
Authorised repairers will disable the PTC operation until such time as replacement parts of the latest specification become available.
REAR VIEW MIRROR MAY DETACH
Under certain circumstances due to vibration a crack may develop at the rear view mirror pivot point and in extreme cases the mirror head(s) may become detached causing a safety issue primarily to other road users or bystanders.
Recall the machines that are likely to be affected to replace the rear view mirrors with ones that have been modified.
REAR VIEW MIRROR MAY DETACH

Recall the machines that are likely to be affected to replace the rear view mirrors with ones that have been modified.
STEERING CONTROL MAY BE AFFECTED
Steering control could be lost as the idler arm bearing journals could fail as a result of the material used to make the not being to specification.
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to replace both steering relay levers
ENGINE MAY STALL
When a driver sequentially performs a quick gear shift down (high rpm 6th to 5th to 4th gear etc)during high speed driving (high engine load) the engine ECU can judge the engine to run in overrun condition. As a result to avoid engine damage the ECU will turn off the engine by stopping the fuel supply and closing the throttle.
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to re-programme the engine ECU.
BRAKES MAY FAIL
The brake disc to hub mount bolts may be loose which could when the brakes are applied cause judder and noisy braking. This could eventually result in the failure of the retaining bolts and ultimately the disc being detached from the hub.
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to fit new bolts with loctite applied and torque the disc to hub fixing bolts to specification.
FUEL MAY LEAK
Fuel injector pipe to fuel pump may leak.
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to reposition the supporting clamp.
FUEL COULD LEAK FROM THE RESIN FUEL RETURN PIPE ON THE INLET MANIFOLD.
It has been identified that the engine fuel return pipe can become damaged as the result of abrasion with it's fixation and harness.
Recalled vehicles will be checked for evidence of pipe damage which if none is evident protective covers will be installed. Should it be found that the pipes are damaged they will be replaced by pipes which are fitted with protective covers.
FIRE MAY OCCUR
Under bonnet fires.
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to 1. Fit fire retardant shields over the bulkhead sound insulation material 2. Replace the EGR pipes 3. Fit a new EGR heat shield to EGR pipe 4. Check the integrity and fit of all related under bonnet components.
LOSS OF ENGINE POWER
It has been identified that due to an incorrect specification the turbo intake hose may deform due to oil contamination. Should this occur the engine power would be significantly reduced resulting in an attainable road speed of less than 20mph.
Recalled vehicles will have the turbo hose replaced with a quality assured item.
FUEL LEAK MAY OCCUR
It has been identified that under certain riding conditions fuel can leak from between the tank filler neck and the fuel cap gasket. Fuel leakage in the presence of a spark or a flame may result in an explosion or a fire.
Recalled machines will have the fuel tank replaced.
AIRBAG MAY NOT DEPLOY
The incorrect side airbag may deploy in the event of an accident.
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to replace the airbag control unit with one containing the correct logic.
FIRE MAY OCCUR
It has been identified that due to the use of an inappropriate material for the intercooler outlet pipe insulator it is possible for the intercooler outlet pipe insulation to detach from the throttle body. This may cause excessive deposition of carbon within the diesel particulate filter that may burn up and result in overheating or melting of the filter. In the worst case the filter may catch fire.
Recalled vehicles will have the intercooler outlet pipe insulator replaced with a quality assured component and bracket.
