LOSS OF REAR BRAKING EFFICIENCY
There is a potential for the friction material on the rear brake pads to come away from the brake pad due to a fault in the adhesion. There is a possibility if ignored the brake pads will deteriorate leading to a loss of rear brake efficiency.
Affected brake pads will be replaced.

VEHICLE MAY CUT OUT
The supply terminal to the engine relay unit may have been over tightened and over time this could damage the component and cause the engine to cut out. In addition this could cause the diagnostic warning lamp to illuminate in error and it may make it more difficult to start the engine.
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to check and if necessary replace the engine relay unit.

LOSS OF BRAKING
It is possible that the brake pedal connection rod linkage securing pin may become disengaged and eventually fall out. If not noticed this could result in the eventual loss of the brake system.
Recall all affected vehicles and replace the brake rod pins with new modified pins.
EXHAUST COUPLING MAY FRACTURE
It is possible that the flexible exhaust coupling could fail and allow hot exhaust gases to escape onto the chassis area at the rear of the cab. This may cause the vehicle's trailer air lines (plastic piping) to melt and inadvertently apply the trailer brakes.
Recall all affected vehicles and replace the flexible exhaust coupling with a redesigned unit.
STEERING WHEEL MAY BECOME DETACHED
It has been identified that a possible failure in the rotary welding process may have resulted in the steering wheel boss not being correctly connected to the main steering wheel frame. In extreme cases this could result in the detachment of the steering wheel.
Recall all affected vehicle and replace the steering wheel.
POSSIBLE AIR LEAKS ON BRAKE CIRCUIT
The recoiling of the pipes during fitment at production may cause the pipes to split at the pipe connection on the hand brake circuit (Circuit 3).
Recall all affected vehicles for the inspection and if required the replacement of the brake pipes.

RISK OF FIRE
The wiring for the auxiliary cab night heater might not be fully secure and allow the wiring to get too close to the heater exhaust pipe. The worst case scenario is the possibility of fire.
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to check and where necessary correctly secure the wiring.
FUEL MAY LEAK
It is possible for the engine cover to contact the two bulkhead panel to engine fuel hoses. If contact is made it is possible that the hose could chafe through and leak.
Recall vehicles likely to be affected to inspect the fuel hoses and where necessary fit a securing clip. If the hose is damaged a new hose and clip will be fitted.
FRAME MAY FAIL
The frame may crack adjacent to the rear footrests which if not rectified in the worst case will lead to the frame collapsing and loss of control.
Recall the machines that are likely to be affected to identify the frame and where necessary replace the frame with one of a modified design.
FUEL MAY LEAK
The fuel filter hose connector may not be fully connected to the fuel filter. If the vehicle continues to be driven in this condition a fuel leak may occur or in extreme conditions the engine may stall.
Recall all affected vehicles and inspect the fuel filter hose connector. If found to be faulty carry out remedial work.
FUEL MAY LEAK
Nissan has identified that the fuel rail pressure sensor of some vehicles may have not been correctly tightened to the fuel rail of the engine and may loosen gradually due to heat and vibration of the engine. If left undetected and the vehicle continues to be driven in this condition in extreme cases fuel leakage may occur.
Re-tighten the pressure sensor and replace the pressure sensor gasket if required.
