PANORAMIC ROOF WINDOW MAY DETACH
While driving the adhesive bonds between the acrylic glass pane and the roof corpus may become loose so that there is a risk that the windows affected will fall from the vehicle.
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected and check the adhesion of the panoramic windows. An additional adhesive seam will be applied to the affected units.
STALLING AND LOSS OF STEERING POWER ASSISTANCE
Involved vehicles may have a software issue which could cause the engine to momentarily cut-out and restart while driving. This could also cause disturbances in some electrical systems such as shut down of the instrument cluster infotainment system and loss of power steering assistance.
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected and upgrade the software of the control units.

FRONT SUSPENSION MAY FAIL
Metal swarf can be in the housing due to a nonconformity in production. This can lead to problems in the airbag system and in the worst case an unintentional deployment of the airbags. An unintentional airbag deployment can cause accidents.
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected and replace the airbag control module.
BRAKING PERFORMANCE MAY BE AFFECTED
The central wiring harness may not have been correctly connected to the central electrics unit. If the connector comes loose it can affect certain electrical components including braking assistance.
On affected vehicles Check wiring connection and if necessary secure connection.
FUEL MAY LEAK IF VEHICLE INVOLVED IN A ROLLOVER INCIDENT
On the affected vehicles the non-return valve located inside the fuel tank may not conform to specification. If the vehicle was to roll over there is a risk of a fuel leak.
On affected vehicles checking the condition of the valve and replace the tank if necessary.

On affected vehicles checking the condition of the valve and replace the tank if necessary.
DRIVERS AIRBAG MAY RUPTURE IF DEPLOYED
In the event of drivers airbag deployment the internal pressure of inflator may increase abnormally and in an extreme case cause the drivers airbag inflator casing to rupture. In an extreme case this may cause a scattering of metal fragments.
Owners will be advised that their vehicle is affected by the recall and will be contacted again when parts are available and the driver's air bag will be replaced..
PRIMARY CHAIN MAY FAIL
When HY-VO chain (Primary chain) is stretched due to high engine temperature the chain may come into contact with an oil nozzle due to insufficient clearance between the chain and oil nozzle. This can result in a broken tip of the oil nozzle which could become caught between the Primary chain and its sprockets if undetected this may result in the Primary chain failing and loss of drive.
Recall the machines that are likely to be affected and replace the oil nozzle with a countermeasure one.
WHEEL MAY DETACHED
The wheel retaining nuts may not have been tightened top the correct specification during assembly.
Recall affected vehicles; Check and if necessary tighten wheel nuts to correct specification.
REAR SPOILER MAY DETACH
The rear spoiler may detach at high speed due to high variance in temperature change. This is a result of a non-conformity with the production process.
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected for inspection and where necessary rebonding.
RISK OF FIRE
On vehicles fitted with the four cylinder (OM651) engine the high pressure fuel lines may not have been manufactured to specifications. These lines may crack and allow fuel to leak. If an ignition source is present there is a risk of fire.
On affected vehicles replace high pressure fuel lines.
LOSS OF BRAKING PERFORMANCE
The servo vacuum pump may fail causing a hard bake pedal loss of engine power and the vehicle may adopt limp home mode. A warning lamp may also illuminate.
On affected vehicles replace vacuum pump.

On affected vehicles replace vacuum pump.
ENGINE MAY STALL AND/OR FAIL TO START
The adhesive used to fix the circuit board to the outer casing of the regulator/rectifier may have been affected by moisture. Due to the insufficient adhesion the heat generated can cause the circuit board to deform and lift away from the case. This condition causes excessive heat and uncontrolled electric current output which can result in the poor charging to the battery battery discharge the engine stalling and or a No-start condition.
Recall the machines that are likely to be affected and replace the regulator rectifier.
RISK OF FIRE
The fuel pre-filter heating may fail because of damage caused by scorching on the relay and its electrical connection. In extreme cases a fire could be possible.
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected and check the relay for the fuel pre-filter heating. Where necessary replace the relay. The relay will only be re-sited if it is replaced. In all cases the protective sleeve must be fitted to the relay and wiring.

ENGINE MAY STALL AND/OR FAIL TO START
The regulator/rectifier circuit board may have absorbed moisture during storage under high humidity conditions which reduced the strength of the adhesive used to fix the circuit board to the outer casing. Due to the insufficient adhesion the heat generated can cause the circuit board to deform and lift away from the case. This condition causes excessive heat and uncontrolled electric current output which can result in the poor charging to the battery. This can cause the battery to discharge and lead to engine stalling and/or a no-start condition.
