DRIVER'S SEATBELT MAY FAIL
The tightening torque of the right hand seat belt lower mountings may not be to the correct specification and the seat belt could detach.
On affected vehickles check and if necessary tighten to correct specification.
SEATBELT MAY FAIL
The tightening torque for the front and rear right hand seat belt lower mountings may not be correct to specification. This could lead to the mountings detaching and in a collision additional injury to the driver.
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected and rectify the tightening torques for the front and rear right hand seat belt lower mountings.

Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected and rectify the tightening torques for the front and rear right hand seat belt lower mountings.
STEERING MAY FAIL
The steering damper mounting bracket bolts may have been over tightened during production. This can lead to one or both bolts breaking which may allow the bracket to interfere with the steering.
Recall the machines that are likely to be affected and replace both bolts with new ones.
THROTTLE MAY STICK IN OPEN POSITION
Water may enter the throttlecable sheath through the cable adjuster. The water may freeze and advversely affect the opertaion of the throttle.
Drain throttle cable of any water lubricate cable and fit clips to prevent further water ingress.
DOORS MAY DOUBLE-LOCK UNEXPECTEDLY
The double lock function for the door locks may operate even when the doors are unlocked. In this mode the interior door handles may be deactivated.
Recall affected vehicles and update software.
RISK OF FIRE
On vehicles fitted with the four cylinder (OM651) engine the high pressure fuel lines may not have been manufactured to specifications. These lines may crack and allow fuel to leak. If an ignition source is present there is a risk of fire.
On affected vehicles replace high pressure fuel lines.
REDUCTION IN HANDLING PERFORMANCE
On affected tyres an incorrect material has been used in the cap ply. When inflated this will cause an irregularity in the tyre form which should be noticed on fitting but if not the driver will notice a change in steering feel during motion.
Replace affected tyres.
STEERING MAY FAIL
On a small number of vehicles the drive rotor at the ball join on the steering rod may break due to excessive stress.
On affected vehicles check steering rack type and if necessary replace.

TYRE MAY FAIL TO GRIP ROAD AS EXPECTED
Some Dunlop SportMaxx GT. 255/40ZR19 100Y XL tyres manufactured in 2015 were manufactured with incorrect tread compound.
Replace affected tyres
PANORAMIC ROOF WINDOW MAY DETACH
While driving the adhesive bonds between the acrylic glass pane and the roof corpus may become loose so that there is a risk that the windows affected will fall from the vehicle.
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected and check the adhesion of the panoramic windows. An additional adhesive seam will be applied to the affected units.

ENGINE MAY STALL AND/OR FAIL TO RESTART
The engine ignition coil may not be to the correct specification. The internal electrical components of the coil may short circuit resulting in an engine misfire. In the worst case this short circuit may cause a fuse inside the Power Distribution Module (IPDM) to fail stopping power to the ignition relay. In this condition the engine may stall and prevent the customer from being able to restart the engine.
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected and replace the ignition coil with new.

STALLING AND LOSS OF STEERING POWER ASSISTANCE
Involved vehicles may have a software issue which could cause the engine to momentarily cut-out and restart while driving. This could also cause disturbances in some electrical systems such as shut down of the instrument cluster infotainment system and loss of power steering assistance.
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected and upgrade the software of the control units.

ENGINE MAY STALL
It is possible that the bank angle sensor wire may break. If this occurs the engine may cut out and possibly not restart.
Recall the machines that are likely to be affected and replace the bank angle sensor add a bank angle sensor rubber add clip joint on sensor harness and change the location of the joint clip.
