ENGINE ECU HAS NOT BEEN CORRCTLY PROGRAMMED
Due to an error in the engine control unit software the engine may shut down when braking from slow speeds such as pulling up at traffic lights. This may also affect the vehicles ECO start system. It will still be possible to manually restart the vehicle.
On affected vehicles update engine and transmission control units.
EXHAUST PIPE MAY NOT COMPLY WITH QUALITY STANDARDS
Some vehicles may have been manufactured with an exhaust head pipe that does not meet Polaris quality standards. As a result the exhaust temperatures may degrade the exhaust head pipe to the point where a hole or crack may form. This could pose a potential fire and/or burn hazard.
To resolve this concern the exhaust head pipe will be replaced.
TYRE MAY DEFORM AND/OR TEAD DETACH
The tyres may not comply with the requirements of certain US testing requirements (FMVSS 571.119 S6.1 and S7.2 Endurance). Specifically S6.1.2.(a) requires at the conclusion of the test there shall be no evidence of broken cords and S7.2 (d) requires the tyre complete the wheel test as indicated in Table III. The tyres may not complete the prescribed test distance or meet the post-test visual examination requirements. The affected tyres may develop an in-service unsatisfactory ride condition bulge in the tread area or a tread separation that if undetected may ultimately result in the loss of vehicle control and increase the risk of a possible crash.
The manufacturer is recalling affected stock and asking consumers to return affected tyres and providing a refund.
REAR AXLES MAY CRACK / FRACTURE
The rear axle casings may crack and oil may leak.In extreme cases the axle casing may fail.
On affected vehicles inspect the rear axle casing and replace where necessary
BONNET MAY OPEN UNEXPECTEDLY
Water ingress into the bonnet release cable may cause corrosion and affect the operation of the cable which could lead to unintentional opening of the bonnet.
On affected vehicles the upper bonnet catch cable will be replaced with a new modified cable with better seals at the end of the cable.

The rear axle casings may crack and oil may leak.In extreme cases the axle casing may fail.
On affected vehicles inspect the rear axle casing and replace where necessary
GEARSHIFT BOLT MAY LOOSEN
The catch bolt for the range change gearshift mechanism may work loose. This may affect gear changes and it is possible drive can be lost.
On affected vehicles remove catch and reassemble as per work instructions.

Affected motorcycles are being recalled to have the ignition switch replaced.
