REAR AXLES MAY CRACK / FRACTURE
The rear axle casings may crack and oil may leak. In extreme cases the axle casing may fail.
On affected vehicles inspect the rear axle casing and replace where necessary.
STARTER MOTOR SUPPLY WIRING HARNESS MAY BECOME DAMAGED
The positioning of the starter supply terminal may be incorrect. This may allow it to foul other components and cause a short circuit.
On affected vehicles check the positioning of the terminaL. Correct it if necessary and add additional protection.

FILLER NECK SEAL MAY LEAK
The sealing arrangement within the filler neck may be distorted and allow fuel to leak. This may be noticeable as wetting or a small volume within the dust cap. It is more likely to be noticeable immediately after filling.
On affected vehicles check poppet valve and where necessary replace.

POSITIVE BATTERY CABLE INSULATION MIGHT BE DAMAGED
The starter motor supply cable from the battery may interfere with the EGR valve. This could cause damage to the insulation and cables.
On affected vehicle inspect cable for position and condition. Where necessary replace cable.
RISK OF ELECTRICAL SHORT-CIRCUIT
A potential chafing condition has been identified between the alternator power cables and coolant pipe which may result in short circuit .Electrical cables might short circuit.
Add a rubber spacer with cable tie to secure power cables from chafing on coolant pipe.
STEERING ARM MAY FRACTURE
Due to a lack of durability the steering lever may fracture at its fixings.
On affected vehciles replace the steering arm with a new design of arm.
THE OCCUPANT RESTRAINT CONTROLLER (ORC) MAY NOT OPERATE AS INTENDED
The Occupant Restraint Controller (ORC) may experience a loss of air bag and seat belt pretensioner deployment capability during a crash due to a shorting condition resulting in a negative voltage transient that travels to the Occupant Restraint Controller via the front impact sensor wires
Replace the Occupant Restraint Control module.

BONNET STRIKER MAY BE INSECURE
The striker wire on the bonnet lining may not have sufficient support to prove it with the security for its intended purpose. This can lead to incorrect locking of the bonnet over time and could result in an unintentional release of the bonnet.
On affected vehicles inspect and if requiredfit an additional strengthener to retain the striker cable on the inner panel of the bonnet. In some cases it may be necessary to replace the bonnet.
THE EMERGENCY LOCKING RETRACTOR (ELR) IN THE FRONT SEAT BELT ASSEMBLIES MAY BE FAULTY
The vehicle sensitive locking mechanism for the front seatbelts may be incorrect causing either the belt not to lock or the webbing very difficult to pull out. If the locking mechanism does not function during a collision it will not restrain the wearer as per design intent and increase the risk of injury.
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected and check the seat belts on both front seats and if necessary replaced.

REDUCED REAR WHEEL GUIDANCE
The screwed connection between the frame and the fixed bearing stud for the rear swinging arm may loosen. This results in the rear wheel not being kept aligned as required causing reduced rear wheel guidance. In certain conditions this can lead to critical riding situations.
Check and tighten mounting bolts for rear wheel swing arm.
FRONT LOWER BALL JOINT MAY FAIL
Due to a manufacturing issue with the front lower ball joint there is a possibility that the surface of the ball joint may be damaged while driving. If the vehicle is operated continuously the ball joint may experience excessive damage and fail.
All vehicles identified will have both front lower ball joints replaced
REAR DRIVESHAFT MAY BECOME DAMAGED RESULTING IN LOSS OF DRIVE
On affected vehicles the clip that retains the gearshift cables may not be fully engaged with the metal portion of the handbrake cable.
Inspect the gearshift cables and driveshaft for signs of contact damage and replace if required. Also the dealership will inspect the gearshift cables clip to ensure it is correctly aligned and fully engaged.
FRONT LOWER BALL JOINT MAY FAIL
Due to a manufacturing issue with the front lower ball joint there is a possibility that the surface of the ball joint may be damaged while driving. If the vehicle is operated continuously the ball joint may experience excessive damage and fail.
All vehicles identified will have both front lower ball joints replaced
FRAME MAY CRACK
The frame of the machine may develop a crack. Should a crack develop as it gradually develops the steering and handling will get progressively worse. If not repaired the frame could beak rendering the machine uncontrollable.
Recall the machines that are likely to be affected and if no cracks are present fit a reinforcement kit. If cracks are present replace the frame.
WRONG DRIVER AIRBAG INFLATOR IS FITTED
Affected vehicles may have received the wrong replacement airbag assembly through a previous recall. This replacement air bag may not deploy as intended.
Recall affected vehicles remove existing air bag assembly and replace it with the correct version.
FUEL MAY LEAK
The engine fuel return pipe is made of material which may adversely react with chemicals paint etc. These may cause the pipe to swell become loose and leak fuel.
On affected vehicles replace the fuel return pipes from the injectors.

HANDBRAKE MAY NOT HOLD
Due to possible loosening of the adjuster lock nut parking brake lever travel may become excessive and the parking brake may not be fully applied. If the vehicle is not parked in accordance with handbook instructions it is possible the vehicle could move.
On affected vehicles check and where necessary replace the adjuster lock nut.
