LEFT HAND FRONT BRAKE FLEXIBLE HOSE CONCERN
Land Rover has received a small number of reports that detail a potential abrasion condition between the front left hand flexible brake hose and tyre. In extreme circumstances dependant upon the position of the hose the front left hand tyre can contact the hose and cause abrasion to the outer lining material which could result in a brake fluid leak.
Recall all affected vehicles to check the clearance between the hose and tyre where abrasion or limited clearance is found the hose must be replaced.
PARKING BRAKE CONCERN.
Under certain parking conditions the vehicle handbrake may not prevent the vehicle from moving.
Ford Dealers will fit an extension block to both rear caliper handbrake actuation levers.
PARKING BRAKE CABLE MAY BREAK
There is a possibility that the parking brake cable may not be to the correct specification and could break at the rear section resulting in loss of parking brake.
Recall affected vehicles and replace parking brake cable.
ACCELERATOR PEDAL CONCERN
The accelerator pedal may foul on its travel limiting stop and prevent the engine from decellerating when the pedal is released.
Fit a modified pedal travel limiting stop.
HANDBRAKE CONCERN
The handbrake cable may have been incorrectly fitted and could become disconnected from the rear brake mechanism. This would result in the handbrake becoming ineffective.
Check that the handbrake cable is correctly connected to the rear brake mechanism and fit a new cable where it is not.
UNINTENDED DEPLOYMENT OF AIR BAG
The electrical wiring loom may chafe on the steering column and cause the unintentional deployment of the drivers air bag.
Check wiring loom for damage and reposition it clear of the steering column.
INSTRUMENT PANEL COVER CONCERN
The lower instrument panel cover may have been incorrectly installed. This could lead to the cover becoming detached and distract the driver.
A revised instrument panel will be fitted that is equipped with wire hooks.
REAR SHOCK ABSORBER MOUNTING MAY FAIL
The rear shock absorber (suspension damper) front mounting bracket may crack and allow the shock absorber to become partly detached. This could affect the safe control of the motorcycle.
Recall affected motorcycles and fit a new shock absorber mounting bracket.

Recall affected motorcycles and fit a new shock absorber mounting bracket.
POSSIBLE FUEL LEAK CONCERN
The fuel hose may become detached from the carburettor inlet. Spilt fuel could cause a fire hazard.
Recall affected machines and check that the fuel hose is correctly positioned on the carburettor inlet stub. Reposition any incorrectly installed hoses and fit a new hose clamp.
BRAKE VACUUM HOSE CONCERN
The brake booster vacuum hose may swell and leak due to oil contamination. This could lead to loss of power brake assist and an increase in engine idle speed. This may increase the stopping distance.
Recall the affected vehicles and replace the brake booster vacuum hose.
PARKING BRAKE CONCERN
The locating dowel on the parking brake assembly may become detached. In this case any impact on the lever may cause its unintended release.
Recall affected vehicles and fit a quality assured replacement parking brake assembly.
PROPSHAFT BEARINGS CONCERN.
Premature wear of the propshaft universal joint bearings may lead to noise vibration and eventual loss of drive.
Recall affected vehicles and fit a new propshaft which has improved bearings.
FAULTY ENGINE IMMOBILISER
The engine may fail to start or may stop without warning whilst driving due to a fault in the engine immobiliser.
Recall affected vehicles and fit a quality assured replacement engine immobiliser.
POSSIBLE REDUCTION IN BRAKING ASSISTANCE PLUS ENGINE OPERATING PROBLEMS.
In adverse wet weather conditions water may enter the engine management solenoid valve operating circuit. This could result in engine operating problems and a reduction in power assistance to the brake pedal if the water enters the brake vacuum circuit via the solenoid valves.
Recall affected vehicles to examine and if necessary replace the engine management solenoid valves with ones sealed against the ingress of water.

AUTOMATIC GEARSHIFT CONCERN.
The gearbox may incorrectly shift into a lower gear during normal driving.
Recall affected vehicles and reprogramme the transmission control unit.
STEERING ARMS MAY BREAK
There is a possibility that due to an incorrect specification the steering arms when subjected to unusual stress such as an impact may break.
Recall affected vehicles and replace steering arms with correct specification type.
FRONT FORK STANCHIONS CONCERN.
In very rare circumstances the front stanchions may bend or fracture ( e.g. after impact from severe pothole or light front collision). This may cause impairment of suspension action or loss of steering control with consequent risk of accident.
Recall the affected motorcycles and fit modified front fork stanchions.
