THE BEARINGS OF THE FUEL INJECTION PUMP MAY FAIL
The bearings of the high pressure fuel injector pump may fail after a short travelled distance (approximately 3000 to 6000 miles) This leads to a total failure of the engine's fuel supply which results in the engine stalling.
Recall likely to be affected vehicles and replace the fuel injector pump.

THE SECURING NUTS OF THE SUNROOF MAY FAIL
The C3 vehicles concerned are fitted with a panoramic sunroof in respect of which the mobile glass has securing nuts that do not meet the manufacturer's quality requirements.
Recall affected vehicles and replace the sunroof securing nuts.

ABNORMAL WEAR ON THE DASHBOARD HARNESS
The dashboard harness on some vehicles may chafe which could cause random malfunctioning of the electric windows and in extreme cases could lead to a short circuit.
Recall the vehicles that are likely be affected and fit a plastic clip to the window switch wiring harness.
BRAKE PEDAL OPERATION MAY REQUIRE HIGHER PEDAL PRESSURE
Under certain circumstances it is necessary to use a higher then normal brake pedal pressure in order to bring the vehicle to a halt. The existence of the fault or otherwise depending on the availability of a signal in the I-shift which reduces and disengages the drive torque.
Recalled vehicles will receive updated software tailored to the control unit fitted.

SEAT BELT MAY NOT RETRACT
The front seat belt retractors may malfunction with the effect that the spooled out portion of the webbing will not retract.
Recalled vehicles will have the seat front seat belts replaced.
FUEL PUMP OUTLET HOSE MAY FRACTURE
Fuel pump outlet hose has the potential under certain conditions to fracture and leak fuel.
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected and replace the fuel pump outlet hose assembly.
ENGINE MAY CUT OUT
It is possible for water to ingress into the cavity underneath the fuel pump electronics and corrode the electrical contacts of the fuel pump. This will lead to sporadic failure of the fuel pump and cause the engine to cut out and possibly back in.
Recall the machines that are likely to be affected and where necessary fit a new O ring seal under the body of the fuel pump body. Additionally if necessary replace the fuel pump unit.

CRACKING IN THE HEAT EXCHANGER
A crack in the heat exchanger caused by high pressure peaks in the heating system may result in coolant entering the body-builder electrical centre.
Recalled vehicles will be inspected for signs of coolant loss and fitted with a shield to protect the electrical centre.

TENSION CRACKS MAY OCCUR ON THE VACUUM PIPE TO THE SERVO
Tension cracks may occur on the vacuum pipe to the brake servo in the area of the connections due to a manufacturing fault. Should a vacuum pipe leak the brake servo will loose it's function. This will result in an increase of force which must be applied to the brake pedal. But will not result in a total failure of the braking system.
Recalled vehicles will have the vacuum pipes checked and if necessary replaced.

FAULTY EARTH CABLE
An interrupted earth cable can cause current to return to the battery through the steering shaft.
Recalled vehicles will have the earth cable checked for damage and continuity of earth connections.Should any damage be found this will be repaired and the steering shaft renewed.
