WARM AIR HOUSING MAY DANGEROUSLY OVERHEAT
In exceptional circumstances a dangerous overheating of the warm air housing could occur.
Recalled vehicles will be fitted with a modified warm air housing.
SPEED CONTROL DEACTIVATION SWITCH MAY OVERHEAT AND CATCH FIRE.
It has been identified that the speed control deactivation switch may overheat smoke or burn.

RISK OF FIRE
It has been identified that the possibility exists for the exhaust silencer to fail which can lead to overheating of a wiring harness.
Recalled vehicles will have the exhaust silencer replaced and a heat shield fitted to the subject wiring harness.
SUSPENSION BALL JOINT MAY FAIL PREMATURELY
It is possible that the suspension lower ball joint may fail prematurely due to the ingress of water and detritus.
Dependent on the design the lower ball joint will be replaced. If the ball joint is integral with the lower arm the assembly will be changed.

REVERSE TORQUE MAY UNEXPECTEDLY APPLY TO THE WHEELS
Under certain circumstances due to a software issue the subject Sedway PT can unexpectedly apply reverse torque to the wheels which can result in the rider falling off.
Recall affected machines and update software.
BRAKING EFFICIENCY MAY REDUCE
The Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) system does not operate properly when the space saver spare wheel is fitted. This could lead to the VDC warning lamp operating and may lead to reduced braking efficiency if the brakes are vigorously applied.
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to fit a new VDC electronic control unit that has upgraded software installed.

PARKING BRAKE MAY FAIL
It has been identified that cracking of the parking brake actuating levers of the rear axle disc brake calipers may lead to loss of parking brake function.
Recalled vehicles will be inspected and affected parts replaced as necessary.
SEATBELT SECURITY MAY BE AFFECTED
It has been identified that two bolts are missing from the installation of the forward facing bed box which in extreme circumstances could result in the seat belt mounting detaching from the chassis.
Recalled vehicles will have the subject mountings fitted with replacement high tensile bolts
STEERING MAY FAIL
It is possible that the connections at the intermediate shaft and sliding yoke of the steering column may become loose and if the symptoms are ignored steering control can be lost.
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected and replace the steering intermediate shaft. In addition inspect the sliding yoke and intermediate shaft extension and replace if necessary. This recall is staggered starting with Prius and Corrolla. Avensis customer letters will be sent out over the next three months

SIDE STAND MOUNTING BOLT MAY FAIL
The side stand pivot bolt may come loose in operation creating a situation where either the bolt or stand may fail during normal usage. This situation can lead to a parked machine falling from its stand.
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to replace the original side stand and bolt assembly with redesigned components.
WINDSCREEN MAY DETACH
Certain genuine Buell accessory tall windscreens part numbers 58214-06Y and 58214-06YA have been supplied with fixings that do not exhibit the required durability in use once installed; this could lead to a condition where the screen becomes detached striking or distracting the rider.
Recall the machines that are likely to be affected to replace the original screen fixings.
FINAL DRIVE ASSEMBLY MAY LEAK
Oil may leak from the rear wheel final drive which if ignored could lead to contamination of the brake disc and tyre.
Recall the machines that are likely to be affected and replace the oil seal and spacer.
HEADLIGHTS AND REAR LIGHT MAY BECOME DISABLED
The NOx sensor has a built in over voltage protection which is triggered by a voltage above 32 volts. When this is over the voltage protection and is active faults codes can be produced for example Headlight and Rear Lights can be disabled.
Recall affected vehicles and modify software.
