FRONT SIDE AIRBAG OR SEAT BELT TENSIONER MAY NOT OPERATE CORRECTLY
It has been identified that due to faulty crimping of the component parts of the airbag wiring harness and seat belt tensioner the side airbag or seatbelt tensioner may not trigger in the vent of a collision.
Recalled vehicles will have the harness checked and repaired as necessary.
SPARE WHEEL CARRIER HEAT SHIELD COULD BECOME DETACHED
The heat shield protecting the spare wheel and carrier may detach because of the vibrations it is subjected to.
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to modify the heat shield or where necessary replace the spare wheel carrier which incorporates the heat shield.
THE BRAKING EFFICIENCY OF THE FRONT BRAKES COULD DIMINISH SEVERELY.
Foaming of the brake fluid may occur in the brake fluid reservoir of the front brake. It is therefore possible that air can then enter the front braking system and adversely affect the performance of the front brake.
Recall the machines that are likely to be affected to fit a screen into the brake fluid reservoir.
FRONT BRAKE MAY FAIL
A combination of unfavourable tolerances can mean that front brake lines might be under strain. The vibrations that occur when riding could cause the brake lines to develop leaks thereby adversely affecting the performance of the front brake. Authority Service Vehicles only are affected by this concern.
Recall the machines that are likely to be affected to fit modified brake lines.
REAR WHEEL MAY LOCK
It has been identified that due to oil starvation caused by incorrect tolerances third gear may seize on the gear box main shaft. Should this occur the possibility exists that the rear wheel could lock whilst the machine was being ridden.
Recalled machines will have 3rd and 4th gears replaced additionally the gearbox main shaft.
CHAIN MAY SLIP
On a small percentage of bicycles the chain slips for a brief period then catches again. No incidents have occurred.
As a safety precaution all bicycles were removed from sale and are being reworked by manufacturer.

ENGINE COOLING FAN MAY FAIL
It has been identified that due to a software issue with the engine cooling fan control module the air conditioning performance may be reduced and the engine coolant temperature may increase. This will result in warning messages being displayed. In extreme cases if the driver does not heed the warnings the engine may fail.
Recalled vehicles will have the cooling fan control module replaced.

TYRE OUTER CASING MAY SEPARATE
It has been identified that possible separation of the tyres inner casing layers might occur resulting in puncturing of the inner tube.
End users are to be contacted by wholesalers/dealers and by public advert and if necessary will have the tyres replaced.
FIRE MAY OCCUR
It has been identified that due to improper insulation of a branch of the engine wiring harness the possibility exists that the harness will chafe on either a cam cover securing bolt or on the cam cover itself. Damage to the harness may lead to a sudden loss of engine power or in the worst case a fire.
Recalled vehicles will have the subject wiring harness fitted with a protector.
ENGINE MAY STALL
It has been identified that the air intake duct on VQ23/35DE engines may become detached from the intermediate resonator of the engine's air intake system. This can result in unstable idling poor acceleration or engine stall whilst driving
Recalled vehicles will have the subject air intake duct replaced.

Recalled vehicles will have the subject air intake duct replaced.
REAR BRAKES MAY BECOME INOPERATIVE
It has been identified that the rear brake caliper mounting bolts are too short. This can effect the rear brake caliper system integrity and may lead to partial or total dismounting of the caliper. Should this occur braking potential may be lost.
Recalled machines will have the mounting bolts replaced.
SEAT BELT MAY NOT PERFORM CORRECTLY
It has been identified that the fixing for the left hand seat belt inertia reel may not have tightened to the specified torque. As a result in the event of an impact the seat belt may not function as designed.
Recalled vehicles will have the fixing checked to ensure that it is at the correct torque tightening same as necessary.
LH SEAT MAY BECOME DETACHED IN A COLLISION
The left hand rear seat may not be fully secure because the right hand seat fixing may have been welded incorrectly. If the weld is incorrect the seat may detach during an accident.
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to check and where necessary repair the seat fixing.

PASSENGER SALOON OVERHEAD HEATER PIPES MAY LEAK
It has been identified that the saloon interior roof mounted heater hoses may degrade and leak.
Recalled vehicles will have the subject heater hoses replaced with quality assured items.

RIGHT-HAND FORK BOTTOM END MAY FAIL
Machining of the right hand fork bottom end clamp does not comply with the design specification. If ignored this may result in cracking in the area of right handside fork wheel shaft clamp bolt which could impair the safe operation of the machine.
Recall all affected machines and inspect the right handside fork bottom end clamp. If found to be outside design specification replace with quality assured replacement.
