DVLA recall archive
The archive holds 15,570 DVLA vehicle safety recalls dating back to 1992. Filter by manufacturer, year, or keyword. To check whether a specific vehicle is affected by an outstanding recall, run a live VRM recall check for £1.99.
Showing 11726–11750 of 15,570 recalls.
FIRE MAY OCCUR
Fire may occur if the vehicle is used for a series of short periods in freezing temperatures. It is possible for ice to build up at the outlet fitting on the cracnkcase ventilation valve and block off the crankcase breather. This can cause oil to leak and contact the exhaust header pipe creating a fire hazard.
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to replace the crankcase breather cartridge with a part with a new design.
REAR SUSPENSION MAY DETACH
The rear suspension may collapse as a result of the drag link fracturing. This will cause the machine to slow rapidly and some loss of control will be experienced.
Recall the machines that are likely to be affected to replace the drag link with one of new design and construction.
FRONT TRAY MAY DETACH AND IMPACT WHEEL
It has been identified that due to an out of specification weld the front tray/basket may detach and contact the front tyre.
Recalled cycles will have the concern rectified.

POSSIBLE REDUCTION IN BRAKING ASSISTANCE
It has been identified that some vehicles may experience a reduction in braking performance leading to increased stopping distance due to the possibility of oil entering the brake booster or the brake vacuum pump non-return valve sticking in the closed position after cold start.
All recalled vehicles will be fitted with a modified brake vacuum pipe along with a revised design non-return valve in the secondary port of the vacuum pump.
POSSIBILITY OF ELECTRICAL FIRE
The wiring connection joining the stator to the main wiring loom may become excessively hot and in extreme cases may cause other nearby components to ignite.
Recall the machines that are likely to be affected to replace the stator to main wiring loom connector.
FUEL MAY LEAK
Fuel may leak from the fuel pump front bearing which could lead to poor performance smell of fuel fuel leakage at the rear of the engine fuel leak onto the ground and in the worse case fire.
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to replace the high pressure fuel pump drive belt belt tensioner the high pressure fuel lines and the fuel filter.
TONNEAU COVER COULD DETACH
It has been identified that in some cases the metal rod which connects the 3 profile hinge is not correctly fixed at it's ends. In the worst case the hinge may fail which can case the tonneau cover to detach from the vehicle.
Recalled vehicles will have the tonneau cover hinges changed for ones with closed ends.

TYRE TREAD MAY DETACH
It has been identified that due to a production non-conformity of the rear Pirelli PZero Corsa tyres when the car is travelling at a high and constant speed close to the highest performance range part of the tread may detach.
Recalled vehicles will have the subject tyres replaced.
RISK OF FIRE
Due to high road salt usage in winter the engine cooling fan module may suffer from corrosion and may overheat and ignite.
Recall affected vehicles to modify wiring loom and to fit water shield to module.
TYRE MAY DEFLATE
It has been identified that a number of batches of tyres are suffering from excessive cracking of the inflation valves. Should this situation go un-rectifed rapid deflation of the tyre may ensue.
Recalled machines will have the subject tyre inflation valves changed.
WARNING LABEL IS MISSING FROM THE CAR SEAT COVER.
It has been identified that the warning label on the inside of the carrier/car seat is missing. This label advises users not to install rearward facing infant seats in a passenger seat which is equipped with a front airbag less it is deactivated. Although the warning label is missing from the seat cover there is one on the seat shell and in the user guide.
Due to the fact that no direct replacement seats for the Flyte model are available refunds are being offered. however for the Spin model replacement seats are being offered.
POSSIBILITY OF FIRE
There is a possibility of a short circuit in the ABS control unit due to infiltration of chemical solutions.
Recall affected vehicles and replace ABS module with modified type which is also fitted with plastic cover
BRAKE PEDAL MAY NEED INCREASED FORCE DURING APPLICATION
There is a possibility that the valve in the Brake Booster Vacuum Pump may not be compliant. This can result in loss of vacuum assistance.
Recall affected vehicles and replace pump.
ENGINE MAY STALL
It has been identified thatthe fuel pump electronic module may not operate as intended. This can result in failure of the fuel pump to start. Should this occur the vehicle may suffer a non start rough running or in the worst case the engine may stall without prior warning. Investigation has shown that it may be possible to drive the vehicle for up to 100 m before the fault manifests itself.
Recalled vehicles will have the software within the central electronic module upgraded.
FUEL MAY LEAK
There is a possibility that fuel may leak from a faulty recirculation pipe connector.
Recall affected vehicles to check and if required change pipe.

STEERING MAY BE INOPERABLE
The bicycle fork has been incorrectly assembled. Control may be lost
Recall affected bicycles check and reassemble fork.
PROPELLER SHAFT MAY DETACH
The propeller shaft may fail and loss of drive occur due to the propeller shaft sliding yoke spline not being correctly heat treated.
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to replace the rear propeller shaft with a quality assured unit.
