REDUCED BRAKING PERFORMANCE
Investigations have identified the wiper arm mechanism may chafe against the brake booster vacuum line. If this chafing occurs it could lead to a gradual reduction of the power assisted braking and more effort would need to be applied to the brake pedal than usual to slow the vehicle down. In a worst case the reduction of braking assistance could occur suddenly without any prior warning
Inspect the brake booster vacuum line. If it is chafed then it should be replaced and routed correctly. If the line is not chafed it should re-routed to ensure no issues going forward.

REAR SUSPENSION ARM MAY SEPARATE
If the rear suspension arm is adjusted as part of a wheel alignment or other repairs whilst in service it is possible that backlash can occur. This can allow corrosion to develop and cause the threads to deteriorate. Ultimately this could result in failure of the arm with a resultant loss of control of the vehicle.
Recall all affected vehicles to check the torque on the arm. Where necessary the arm will be replaced.

BRAKES MAY FAIL
During production it is possible the brake system may not have been bled correctly and some air may remain in the brake system. This could result in increased brake pedal travel and a possible reduction in braking efficiency.
Affected vehicles will be recalled to have the brake system bled.
SEAT BELT BUCKLE MAY FAIL
Seat-belt buckle for the double cab second seat row may separate from seat connector under load.
Check all seat-belt buckles of the second seat row according to the following rework instruction and install a new seat-belt buckle if necessary

CAB MAY TILT WITHOUT WARNING
On vehicles equipped with electric cab tilting mechanism it is possible that water may enter the control relay for the system. This can cause a short circuit in the pump control relay which will operate the tilt pump and if the driver has failed to leave the control valve in the lowered position then an involuntary tilting of the cab may occur.
Recall all affected vehicles for the fitment of a water tight protection to be fitted to the control relay.
HANDBRAKE EFFICIENCY MAY NOT BE TO SPECIFICATION
The fixture of the handbrake cable stop support may not have been produced to the correct specification. If not rectified this could cause a reduction in hand brake efficiency.
Recall all affected vehicles and install strengthening for the handbrake cable stop support under the vehicle.
BRAKING EFFICIENCY MAY BE AFFECTED
Incorrect type of brake fluid installed at production could cause internal corrosion of the ABS module. This corrosion can lead to a gel build up inside the module which may affect the closing motion of one of the valves. There will be no external loss of fluid or reduction in fluid level but it is possible the driver could feel excessive brake pedal travel. In some circumstances there may be reduced braking performance.
Inspection of the brake fluid using a scan tool. Drain and replace the fluid and replace the brake fluid reservoir cap (All models except Captiva & Epica/Tosca). Erase ''DOT 3'' text from the customers Owner's Manual (All models except Captiva & Epica/Tosca). Add information regarding the use of DOT 4 brake fluid.

RISK OF FIRE
The turbo charger oil pressure line may fail. This will allow oil to fall onto the road surface causing concerns to other road users. In the worst case scenario the oil could ignite and cause a fire.
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to replace the oil pressure line and connecting flanges for the turbo charger and where necessary replace the exhaust pipe mounting bracket for a modified version.

OIL MAY LEAK
On eligible units of Ninja ZX-10R and Ninja ZX-10R ABS models some engine crankcases may have a casting flaw which allows engine oil to leak at the starter motor mounting area and collect on the crankcase surface. Continued use in this condition can allow oil to get onto the rear tyre
The repair consists of adding a special sealing compound to the affected area to avoid any possibility of oil leakage.
FUEL MAY LEAK
The tightening torque of the fuel pipes and the injectors of the engine may be incorrect. This could cause excessive stress at the tightening area and result in cracking. These cracks may occur in the injector resulting in fuel leaking onto the road surface. This could affect other road users.
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to replace the injectors.
