RISK OF FIRE
In certain conditions moisture could gain entry into the wiring connector that powers the Electronic Power Steering (EPS) and the EPS unit. This moisture can then in very rare cases penetrate the EPS through the ground pin and cause overheating of the ground connector pin which can in turn lead to fire.
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to replace the supplementary wiring harness with one that has an improved connector sealing arrangement.
SHORT CIRCUIT MAY CAUSE FAILURE OF THE POWER ASSISTANCE
It is possible for condensation water droplets to form within the relay in the electric power steering control module. This can cause a short circuit across terminals within the relay. If this occurs and abnormally high voltage is detected by the control module it will shut down the power to the EPS which will coincide with a warning buzzer and light illuminating on the dash. This will result in the loss of power assistance to the steering.
Recall all affected vehicles and replace the power control module.

POSSIBILITY OF LOSS OF CONTROL
It has been found that tie rod interfered against I-beam on full-steering lock. If the vehicles are continuously used in the worst case there is a possibility that the tie rod may be damaged thereby affecting handling.
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to replace the track rod with one of a quality assured design.
ABS MAY NOT FUNCTION CORRECTLY
The ABS system may not function correctly causing longer stopping distances than expected and also the fault may not illuminate the ABS warning lamp. This is due to a none conformance on production with the ABS unit.
Recall the machines that are likely to be affected and replace the ABS unit.
MACHINE MAY STALL
It is possible that an internal fault in the engine Electronic Control Unit (ECU) may cause the engine to stall. This can lead to a loss of control of the machine.
Recall all affected machines and replace the engine ECU with a reprogrammed unit.

Recall the machines that are likely to be affected and replace the ABS unit.
BRAKING EFFICIENCY MAY BE AFFECTED
It is possible that a brake fluid leak could develop on brake pipe unions of either of the rear brake calipers or rear brake cylinders. If this occurs then the driver will receive a warning in the form of a warning light illuminating on the instrument panel. However if the driver does not heed this warning the braking efficiency of the vehicle could be impaired and the stopping distance increased.
Recall all affected vehicles to check re-tighten the unions and if required replace any damaged/defective components.
ENGINE MAY CUT OUT
It has been established that the Charge Air Cooler (CAC) hoses and resonator pipe have not been assembled to the correct specification. It is therefore possible that under certain conditions the CAC hose can detach from the resonator. This could result in the engine cutting out and possible loss of vacuum assistance for the brake servo.
Recall the affected vehicle and rectify the issue.

POSSIBILITY OF FIRE
It is possible that if the blower motor becomes jammed the temperature fuse of the resistor may not cut out. This can then cause a section of the air conditioning unit to overheat and possibly result in a vehicle fire.
Recall all affected vehicles and replace the resistor assembly.
SPEED AND POSSIBLY DIRECTION CONTROL COULD BE ADVERSELY AFFECTED
The rear suspension double connecting rod may fail allowing the suspension to drop which will affect speed and possibly directional control of the machine.
Recall the machines that are likely to be affected to replace the rear suspension double connecting rod including associated bearings and seals.

BELT AND TREAD MAY SEPARATE
The tyre tread may de-laminate. In the most severe of circumstances this can adversely affect the directional control of the vehicle.
Recall the tyres that are likely to be affected and replace with quality assured product.
FRONT BRAKE PERFORMANCE
The front brake line may chafe against the oil supply pipe and leak fluid. In the worst case the performance of the front brake will rapidly diminish.
Recall the machines that are likely to be affected to fit a plastic guard.

HEATER FAN MOTOR MAY OVERHEAT
It is possible that the heater fan motor may seize at slow speed. Under extreme conditions this may cause the internal temperature of the heater fan circuit to increase. If this occurs the thermal fuse may not cut-out which will result in an overheating of the fan and its surrounding area. The driver will find smoke being exhaled via the heater vents and in extreme circumstances there could be a vehicle fire.
Recall all affected vehicles and replace the heater motor thermal fuse with an up-rated item.
