ENGINE MAY STALL
It is possible for contamination to get between the tappet and the cam and cause surface damage and wear to the cam. If this condition occurs the valve clearance can become large and cause abnormal engine noises and in worst case engine to stall.
Recall the machines that are likely to be affected and check the tappet clearances and in some cases replace cams and adjust tappets.
ENGINE MAY STALL AND/OR FAIL TO START
The regulator/rectifier circuit board may have absorbed moisture during storage under high humidity conditions which reduced the strength of the adhesive used to fix the circuit board to the outer casing. Due to the insufficient adhesion the heat generated can cause the circuit board to deform and lift away from the case. This condition causes excessive heat and uncontrolled electric current output which can result in the poor charging to the battery. This can cause the battery to discharge and lead to engine stalling and/or a no-start condition.
Recall the machines that are likely to be affected and replace the regulator/rectifier.
RISK OF FIRE
The fuel pre-filter heating may fail because of damage caused by scorching on the relay and its electrical connection. In extreme cases a fire could be possible.
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected and check the relay for the fuel pre-filter heating. Where necessary replace the relay. The relay will only be re-sited if it is replaced. In all cases the protective sleeve must be fitted to the relay and wiring.
RISK OF FIRE
Due to water ingress the tailgate power module may develop a short circuit. This may cause the module to fail and in extreme cases
Check affected vehicles for water ingress and modules for corrosion. Where necessary rectify water ingress replace power module and connectors and fit a power module water shield
FIRE MAY OCCUR
Water ingress may gather in the spare wheel well may accumulate and cause the battery to short circuit. In extreme cases this could cause a fire.
On affected vehicles fit an additional drain valve to the spare wheel well.
HIGH TOP ROOF COULD DETACH OR ALLOW WATER INGRESS ONTO INTERIOR FITTINGS
The glue used to fix the high top to the base vehicle overtime loses adherence. This may not be evident to the driver and water may cause none visible corrosion and could affect interior fittings. In the worst case scenario the high top could detach.
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected and fit a new high top moulding with a new glue product. Where necessary correct any corrosion issues.
SEATBELT FIXING BOLTS MAY WORK LOOSE
The retaining bolts securing the front seat belts to the 'B' Pillar may not have been tightened to the correct specification. They may work loose and the seat belt could detach.
On affected vehicles check retaining bolts for tightness and correct if necessary.
POSSIBILITY OF TANK DEFORMING AND FUEL LEAK
The fuel tank breather may have been positioned incorrectly during assembly and become kinked. If the hose is kinked the air flow through the breather hose will be obstructed and the fuel tank internal vacuum can become high and cause the tank to deform with the possibility damage to the tank and fuel leaking.
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to check the fuel tank breather for airflow. The fuel tank breathers will be replaced. If tank damage is found replace fuel tank.
ENGINE MAY START UP WITHOUT WARNING
The earth attachment for the on board power supply control unit may not be to specification. This can lead to various electrical events. In the most unfavourable case the engine may start when using the central locking remote control.
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected and check the torque of the earth attachment. If necessary the earth attachment is to be tightened to the correct specification.
FUEL MAY LEAK
The right hand side parking brake cable may interfere with the fuel tank. As a result there is possibility of peeling off the coating on the fuel tank. In the worst case the fuel tank can corrode and leak. Leaking fuel is a risk to other road users.
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected and replace the right hand side parking brake cable with a new one. In addition the fuel tank will be checked and if necessary replaced.
REAR BRAKE MAY FAIL
During manufacture of the rear brake hose the crimping not to specification which can lead to the connection failing when the brake is applied and loss of brake effort at the rear brake.
Replace the rear brake hose with a countermeasure one.
CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE MAY BE AFFECTED
It has been identified that under certain situations it is possible for the weld joining the bracket post to the base plate to fail. This could allow the TV monitor to become detached from its stored position. If this was to occur whilst the vehicle is in motion it can result in either block the drivers view of the road or strike them causing injury.
Recall all affected vehicles to replace the monitor bracket with a stronger version.
ENGINE MAY CUT OUT
Two concerns. 1. If corrosive liquids enters the ignition switch it can cause the terminals inside to corrode. This can result in either the engine still running after the key has been taken out or a disconnection of the power supply allowing the engine to cut out. 2. A wiring loom may abrade on the underside of the fuel tank which can lead to rough running and eventually the engine will cut out.
Recall the machines that are likely to be affected and replace the wiring loom and reposition the earth point which will solve both the aforementioned concerns.

REPLACEMENT WINDSCREEN FITTED INCORRECTLY & COULD DETACH IN A COLLISION
A windscreen installer may not have followed due processes when replacing windscreens. These windscreens may allow water ingress cause excessive wind noise and may also detach in the event of an accident.
Remove and reinstall windscreens on affected vehicles.
ELECTRONIC SYSTEMS MAY BE DEACTIVATED
In some circumstances the driver and passenger may experience consequent switching off of the instrument panel light and possible deactivation of other electronic systems such as the ABS and airbags. The concern is caused by loose connections at the ignition switch contact holder block.
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected and replace the ignition switch contact holder block.
RISK OF FIRE
Due to a nonconformity of the sealing agent fuel may seep from the tank sender unit. Fuel could be ignited if it come into contact with an ignition source.
Replace tank sender unit on affected machines.
RISK OF FIRE
The high pressure fuel lines have not been manufactured to the correct specification which over time can lead to crack formation and fuel leaking. Fuel escaping in the presence of an ignition source could lead to fire.
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected and replace the high pressure fuel lines.
