HEADLAMP AUTO AIM FUNCTION MAY NOT OPERATE
Due to a non confromity in production the headlamp auto aim function may not operate
Reconfigure and then reinitialise the headlamp leveliser control unit on affected vehicles.
HAZARD WARNING LIGHTS MAY FAIL
The hazard warning lamps wiring may not be of the correct length and can become damaged during steering operations. This may cause the hazard lamps not to work but will not affect the individual direction indicators.
On affected machines extend the wiring by installing a new electrical block connector and fly lead.
FUEL MAY ESCAPE FROM THE FUEL TANK
Polaris Industries Inc. (Polaris) have issued a STOP ride and STOP sale notice on a small number of machines. These machines were manufactured with a fuel tank vent line end location in the headlight pod which may result in liquid fuel exiting the vent line and create a risk of fire.
On affected machines fit a new and rerouted vent pipe.
OIL LEAK FROM TURBOCHARGER FEED PIPE.
Under certain conditions the oil feed pipe to the turbocharger may leak.Oil may contact hot components and there is a risk of fire.
On affected vehicles replace the oil feed line to the turbocharger.
STARTER RELAY MAY OVERHEAT
Possible non-compliance of an internal component of the starter control relay could cause damage by overheating. This could cause unintended operation of the starter motor and in extreme instances; there is a risk of fire.
Check and if necessary replace the Electrical relay

LOSS OF POWER STEERING ASSISTANCE
A pipe to the power steering cooler may not be corrctly secured and may come adrift. This may cause a loss of power steering assistance.
On affected vehicles fit a new bracket to more securely retain the pipes.

BRAKE HOSE RETAINING CLIP MAY FAIL.
Surface finishing of brake hose retaining clip may be insufficient causing possibility of corrosion and failure of clip.
Replace brake hose clips with modified ones
ERRATIC ACCELERATOR BEHAVIOUR
A faulty accelerator pedal sensor may cause erratic accelerator operation during operation of the accelerator pedal. This may vary between no throttle reaction to a speed greater than expected for a throttle position
On affected vehicles replace the accelerator pedal with a new variant and install an adapter wiring harness

DOOR ANTITRAP DEVICE MAY NOT OPERATE
Depending on type of control unit fitted the antitrap protection device on inwards opening doors may not operate and objects could become trapped.
On affected vehicles fit electrical cable bridges as required.
TYRE PRESSURE MONITORING SYSTEM INCORRECTLY SET
The Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) on the affected vehicles was calibrated incorrectly and as a result does not illuminate the low tyre pressure warning tell-tale at the required minimum activation pressure.
Recalibrate the TPMS on affected vehicles.
POSSIBLE SHORT CIRCUIT OF DRIVER SEAT WIRING
Some vehicles may have been manufactured with an incorrect driver seat wiring harness layout which can cause the seat wiring harness to rub against metal points on the seat/seat frame assembly through normal seat adjustment operation. Over time this can lead to an inoperative seat adjustment system and in rare cases a potential risk of fire due to an electrical short to ground between the seat wiring harness and the seat adjustment motor assembly.
Replace 2 seat circuit breakers with 25 amp mini-fuses check harness apply protective barrier and reposition if undamaged. If damaged replace harness and then ensure repositioned and protective barrier applied.
FRONT SUSPENSION COULD FAIL
The fixed fork tube can suffer preliminary damage due to unusual incidents with momentary high stress without the user noticing the damage. Through longer usage with high stress the pressed in seal plug can loosen. This usually leads to oil leaks a clacking noise as well as increasingly imprecise drivability. If these signals are not perceived or ignored and further high stress incidents occur the plug may become completely loose. Subsequently critical driving conditions cannot be ruled out.
Recall the machines that are likely to be affected and retrofit with an additional fixed fork bush or if the preliminary damage is too much the fixed front tubes are replaced by appropriately modified new parts.
ABS/ESC SYSTEM MAY FAIL
On vehicles with ABS/ESC the earth connection may be interrupted. This may cause failure of the ABS/ESC system.
On affected vehicles install new software.
