INCORRECT HEADREST RODS MAY HAVE BEEN INSTALLED IN THE BACKREST OF THE SECOND ROW OF SEATS ON THE OUTER SIDE
Incorrect headrest rods may have been installed in the backrest of the second row of seats on the outer side.
On affected vehicles the outer headrest of the second seat row will be checked and replaced if necessary.
THE FRONT PASSENGER MAIN FRONTAL AIR BAG COULD SPLIT AT THE SEAM AND MAY NOT DEPLOY CORRECTLY WHEN ACTIVATED IN A COLLISION
The front passenger main frontal airbag could split at the seam and may not deploy correctly when the airbag is activated in a collision.
Replace the airbag with an improved version
THE ENGINE TONE WHEEL WHICH PROVIDES A SIGNAL TO THE CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR MAY FAIL
The engine tone wheel which provides a signal to the crankshaft position sensor may fail.
Replace the engine tone wheel.
IT MAY NOT BE POSSIBLE TO ENGAGE THE HANDBRAKE LEVER
It may not be possible to engage the handbrake lever.
Check the handbrake lever locking mechanism and if necessary replace the handbrake lever.
POTENTIAL ELECTRICAL SHORT IN THE LITHIUM-ION BATTERY

FAULT IN THE AIR BAG CONTROL MODULE SOFTWARE
Due to a fault in the airbag control module software the airbag system may fail to be active without this being indicated on the instrument panel.
Carry out an update to the airbag control module and instrument panel software.
THE WELDING OF THE INDIVIDUAL COMPONENTS OF THE TOWBAR MIGHT NOT MEET THE CORRECT SPECIFICATION
The welding of the individual components of the towbar might not meet the correct specification.
Check the identity label and replace the tow bar if affected.
THE REAR RAIL ASSEMBLY MAY NOT HAVE THE SPECIFIED STRUCTURAL STRENGTH
The rear rail assembly (rear longitudinal armatures) installed as part of an aftermarket repair may not have the specified structural strength.
Replacement parts will be installed in line with aftermarket welding standards.
DUE TO A NONCONFORMITY OF THE FUEL RETURN PIPE DIESEL FUEL LEAKS MAY OCCUR
Due to a nonconformity of the fuel return pipe diesel fuel leaks may occur.
Check the conformity of the fuel return pipe and if necessary replace.
THE FIXINGS CONNECTING THE EXHAUST DOWNPIPE TO THE CATALYTIC CONVERTER MAY NOT HAVE BEEN TIGHTENED TO THE SPECIFIED TORQUE VALUE
The fixings connecting the exhaust downpipe to the catalytic converter may not have been tightened to the specified torque value.
Inspect the exhaust downpipe to catalytic converter joint. If the fixings are present torque them up to the required torque specification. If any fixings are missing they will be replaced and torqued to the required specification.
THE FIXINGS CONNECTING THE EXHAUST DOWNPIPE TO THE CATALYTIC CONVERTER MAY NOT HAVE BEEN TIGHTENED TO THE SPECIFIED TORQUE VALUE
The fixings connecting the exhaust downpipe to the catalytic converter may not have been tightened to the specified torque value.
Inspect the exhaust downpipe to catalytic converter joint. If the fixings are present torque them up to the required torque specification. If any fixings are missing they will be replaced and torqued to the required specification.
WHEEL HUB CAPS MAY NOT HAVE BEEN MANUFACTURED ACCORDING TO SPECIFICATION
Wheel hub caps may not have been manufactured according to specification.
Replace the wheel hub caps on the affected vehicles.
INDIVIDUAL SCREW CONNECTIONS OF THE SHOCK ABSORBERS ON THE FRONT AND REAR AXLE MAY HAVE BEEN IMPERMISSIBLY TIGHTENED SEVERAL TIMES
Individual screw connections of the shock absorbers on the front axle and rear axle may have been impermissibly tightened several times.
The affected fastening screws must be replaced and tightened according to the original specifications. On vehicles where the front axle is affected the mounting saddles must also be replaced.
THE PRELOAD FORCE OF THE PISTON RETURN SPRING IN THE FRONT MASTER CYLINDER MAY LIE OUTSIDE THE SPECIFIED TOLERANCE
The preload force of the piston return-spring in the front master cylinder may in individual cases lie outside the specified tolerance.
Replace the piston return-spring with a longer and harder spring.
THE PRELOAD FORCE OF THE PISTON RETURN SPRING IN THE FRONT MASTER CYLINDER MAY LIE OUTSIDE THE SPECIFIED TOLERANCE

THE ENGINE PRE-HEATER RELAY MAY OVERHEAT AND FAIL
The engine pre-heater relay may overheat and fail due to short circuit between the 24V and ground on the printed circuit board (PCB).
Modify pre-heater relay harness by connection of extension cable with fuse. Replace pre-heater relay as required.
