THE ADAPTOR OF THE STEERING SHAFT HAS FRACTURED DURING MANUFACTURE
During the manufacturing of the adapter of the steering shaft fracturing of the forged parts may have occurred
Replace the steering shaft with a correctly manufactured part
WIND NOISE AND WATER LEAKS AROUND THE PANORAMIC GLASS ROOF DUE TO ADHESION ISSUES.
Vehicles could develop wind noise & water leaks around the panoramic glass roof. Should the roof glass loosen there is a risk that the glass could become detached from the vehicle.
Add additional urethane adhesive between the vehicle body and roof glass.
THE DISTANCE BETWEEN THE BRAKE LINE AND WIRING HARNESS MAY NOT BE SUFFICIENT
On certain Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vehicles the distance between the brake line and the wiring harness may not be sufficient.
Check and apply an anti-chafe protection to the affected components. If damage to the components is already evident then the affected components will be replaced and anti-chafe protection applied.

On the affected vehicles incorrect wheel bolts may have been installed during vehicle production.
On the affected vehicles the wheel bolts on all 4 wheels will be checked to ensure they are the correct specification if they are not the bolts will be replaced.
FUEL MAY LEAK FROM FUEL PUMP RINGS
Fuel may leak from fuel pump rings.
Replace the fuel pump rings with new ones.
THE HOLDING FORCE FOR THE TAILGATE MAY BE TOO LOW TO HOLD THE TAILGATE UP
The holding force for the tailgate may be too low to hold the tailgate up.
Software in the control unit for the tailgate will be updated (HKFM) and where necessary replace the MPAD control unit.

EXCESSIVE INCREASE OF COOLING SYSTEM TEMPERATURE COULD LEAD TO A BURSTING OF THE HEATER MATRIX RADIATOR
Excessive increase of cooling system temperature could (in a worst case) lead to a bursting of the heater matrix radiator.
Fitting an additional thermostat and modified hoses into the heating system to bypass the heat exchanger if overheating was to occur.

THE SCREWS ON THE CONNECTION OF THE HEAT EXCHANGER OIL LINES MAY NOT HAVE BEEN PROPERLY TORQUED DURING THE ASSEMBLY PROCESS
The screws on the connection of the heat exchanger oil lines may not have been properly torqued during the assembly process.
Check the mounting of the heat exchanger feed and return oil lines and rework if necessary.
THE ACTUAL INSTALLATION CONDITION OF THE COMMUNICATION MODULE AND ITS CORRECT COMMISSIONING CANNOT BE TRACED DUE TO AN ERROR IN PRODUCTION
On certain vehicles the actual installation condition of the communication module and its correct commissioning cannot be traced due to an error in production.
Check the installation condition of the communication module and depending on the actual condition of installation either retrofit it or if it is already available put it into correct operation.
CRACKS COULD FORM IN THE CONNECTING SECTION OF THE TRAILER-COUPLING BLOCK/CROSSMEMBER OVER THE VEHICLE LIFE
On certain vehicles with a trailer coupling block with tow ball cracks could form in the connecting section of the trailer-coupling block/crossmember over the vehicle life.
Replace the affected trailer-coupling block/crossmember with a reinforced variant.
A SOFTWARE VERSION WHICH IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH THE ESP CONTROL UNIT COULD HAVE BEEN INSTALLED
On certain vehicles a software version which is not compatible with the ESP control unit could have been installed during a workshop visit.
Update the ESP control unit software on affected vehicles.
