SRL240710 - LEIT-SCHEU Check wiring harness routing
The retrofitted DVS camera / sensor wiring harness along the chassis/cab frame may have been carried out incorrectly. As a result of an incorrectly installed DVS retrofitting scorching damage could occur in the area of the transition from the frame to the cab (swan neck) due to chafing of the wires. Depending on the nature of the damage / or level of chafing the possibility of a vehicle fire cannot be ruled out.
As part of the planned field measure we will check the DVS retrofit was carried out on behalf of DTUK as to whether the retrofitting of the cables was carried out in accordance with the specifications in WIS and the Bodybuilder Guideline and therefore if the chassis/cab frame wiring harness is still routed correctly.

On Crafter “Grand California” vehicles of a limited production period there is a possibility that the leak test of the natural gas system was not correctly carried out. Leaks from the natural gas system cannot be ruled out.
On all affected vehicles a leak test of the natural gas system must be performed and if unsuccessful necessary repairs completed. After the repair the leak test of the natural gas system must be carried out again.

2024 FL Regulator Wiring
The regulator output wire may rub against the crankcase which could cause a short circuit and the main fuse may fail. This would result in a loss of all electrical power including all lighting. This will affect propulsion and visibility.
