CRACKING OF POWER STEERING HYDRAULIC CYLINDER MOUNTING BRACKET
The bracket which mounts the steering hydraulic ram to the chassis is a casting manufactured from an incorrect material. The bracket is too brittle and therefore proven to developing cracks which can give rise to steering difficulties.
Brackets on recalled vehicles will be checked for the serial number 3431/31 which indicates that the bracket has been made from the wrong material. If this is the case the bracket will be changed.
THE FRONT LOWER PORTION OF THE SEAT COVER CAN BECOME DETACHED
It is possible that the front lower portion of the cover on the front seat can become detached from its position. This can leave exposed a sharp metal edge on the seat base. This may cause injury or damage to the occupants hand when accessing the storage compartment or during seat adjustment.
Recall the affected vehicles and re-fit the cover with a modified fastener.

ACTUAL ENGINE SPEED CAN DIFFER FROM SPEED REQUESTED BY THE DRIVER
In certain cases the risk exists that there may be a faulty contact between the accelerator pedal sensor and the injection computer. In such cases the SERV warning light will illuminate on the dashboard. The situation remains under control by simply by applying the brake pedal.
Recalled vehicles will undergo preventive reprogramming of the injection computer

FLEXIBLE FRONT BRAKE LINES MAY BE LOCATED TOO CLOSE TO THE FRONT BRAKE DISKS.
In certain cases the front brake flexible hoses may be located too close to the front discs and become worn through contact with them. This poses the risk of a deterioration of brake performance.
Recalled vehicles will have the front brake flexible hose retaining brackets replaced.

PREMATURE WEAR OF THE HAND BRAKE CABLE
Premature wear of the hand brake cable resulting in hand brake failure.
Likely to be affected vehicles will be recalled and fitted with a hand brake cable of an improved design.
STEERING CYLINDER CLAMP BOLTS WILL NOT ACHIEVE CORRECT TORQUE
It is not possible to obtain the correct torque on the steering ram and cylinder ball joint clamp bolts. Therefore after a certain time it might be possible for the ball joint to become loose on its threads.
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected. Replace the nuts and bolts that clamp the ball joints to the ram and cylinder and tighten them to the correct torque.
ISOFIX CONNECTOR MIGHT BREAK DUE TO MATERIAL NOT BEING TO SPECIFICATION
It has been identified that the Isofix connector which is part of the Opel/Vauxhall accessory child seat with transponder might break. This is as the result of the material not being to specification.
End users will be contacted and the seat replaced.
POSSIBILITY THAT THE ECL WILL NOT PERFORM NORMALLY
The vehicle uses an Electronic Column Lock (ECL) to prevent the steering wheel being turned when the ignition key is removed. It has been identified that the following two conditions could prevent the correct operation of the steering lock. 1.If the Power-train Control module suffers low voltage or an interruption whilst the engine is being cranked the vehicle can be driven with the steering locked. 2. During quick cranking the ECL lock pins may not fully withdraw which will result in either a noise or rattle or if there is insufficient clearance the steering wheel will not turn. If one of these conditions occurs directional control will be affected.
Recall and rework affected vehicles
ISOFIX ANCHORAGE MAY ALLOW THE CHILD SEAT TO DETACH IN THE EVENT OF A COLLISON
The ISOFIX anchorage may allow the child seat to be come detachedin the event of a collision.
Customers will be contacted and given a full refund in respect of the original child seat. Customers will then be offered a replacement seat from a different manufacturer free of charge.
SIDE AIRBAG WIRING ISSUE
The wiring for the side airbags within the electrical connector for the control module is reversed. In the event of an impact which triggered the side airbag system the incorrect side would be deployed.
Subject vehicles to be recalled at which time the wiring fault will be corrected by establishing the terminals to their correct location within the connector.

AUXILIARY HEATER HARNESS CONNECTOR COULD OVER HEAT
It is possible that the auxiliary heater harness connection could over heat or burn due to oxidization. In extreme cases it is possible that this could result in a thermal incident.
Recall the affected vehicles and install heat shrink sleeves to the wining.
INTERFERENCE BETWEEN STEERING SHAFT AND COLUMN
When the steering column is extended to it's maximum position then as far as possible towards the driver an interference may occur between the lower part of the steering shaft and the column housing.
Recalled vehicles will be checked for the existence of the fault if found the cause of the fouling will be removed with a file.
TENSILE STRENGTH MAY NOT MEET STANDARD
There is a possibility of the brake cable detaching from the cable end nipple during application of the brake. This will lead to the loss of braking effort to the system operated.
To recall the likely to be affected cables and replace as necessary.

To recall the likely to be affected cables and replace as necessary.
THE GEARSHIFT CABLE MAY BREAK WHILST IN SERVICE
The manual transmission gearshift control cable may break due to a lack of maximum strength and durability. This will result in the inability of the driver to either select or de-select the gears.
Recall likely to be affected vehicles and replace the gearshift cable.
POSSIBILITY THAT THROTTLE CONTROL MAY BE LOST
The electronic throttle pedal assembly cross shaft can become displaced from its housing following involuntary displacement of an ultrasonically domed head (LHS end). This is designed to keep the cross shaft in place along with a secondary retaining cross pin at the opposite side of the housing. With the cross shaft displaced throttle control is lost. If ignored a failed cross shaft would lead to loss of throttle control whilst driving.
Likely to be affected vehicles will be recalled at which time the throttle assembly will be checked for compliance with specification. Should a non-compliance be identified the throttle pedal assembly will be replaced.
STEERING DAMPER FOULING POWER STEERING PIPES
Steering damper and or its mountings may foul power steering pipes or other components depending on the axle variant and use. This could result in the loss of power steering assistance and or fouling of other components.
Remove all steering damper components and mounting brackets as required.
IT MAY BE POSSIBLE TO RIDE THE MOTORCYCLE WITH THE SIDE STAND DOWN.
An incorrectly welded pivot piece on the side stand may prevent the side stand cut out switch from operating.
Recall likely to be affected machines and inspect the side stand where necessary a quality assured side stand will be fitted.
