HANDBRAKE COULD BECOME INOPERATIVE.
It has been identified that the handbrake lever ratchet may not latch into position when the handbrake is applied due to the possibility of the internal push rod possibly having suffered damage during assembly. With continued usage the push rod joint can become worn causing the handbrake ratchet mechanism not to latch sufficiently. Should this occur the handbrake will become inoperative.
Recalled vehicles will have the handbrake mechanism replaced.
ENGINE EMERGENCY SHUT OFF ON BOARD DIAGNOSIS OR TANK/SPEEDO SIGNAL MAY BE AFFECTED
Possibility of transfer of incorrect control unit software which could affect engine shut off control in an emergency situation or the on board diagnosis system or tank/speedometer signal
Recall affected vehicles and replace SAM control unit
SERVICE BRAKE MAY BECOME INOPERATIVE
It has been identified that malfunctions may occur within the clutch control. As a resultwhen a vehicle is in a low gear and the working speed control is active the vehicle cannot be stopped by application of the service brake. In these circumstances the vehicle can only be stopped by switching off the working speed control switching off the engine or by engaging neutral.
It is therefore necessary to replace the gear control unit or change the settings.

FRONT LIGHTS / INDICATORS AND CONSOLE LIGHTS MAY FAIL.
The SAM unit may become unreliable due to moisture in a transistor due to incorrect storage. In extreme cases various electrical functions may be affected such as front lights indicators wipers steering column adjustment and centre console lights
Recall affected vehicles and replace front SAM control unit

POTENTIAL FAILURE OF REAR AXLE
It has been identified that the rear axle left hand side half shaft may develop cracks. Should this occur breakage of the rear axle might ensue.
Recalled vehicles will have the rear axle inspected and replaced if necessary.
REAR AXLE MAY BECOME INSECURE
It has been identified that the rear axle U bolts have been subject to failure when the vehicle is fitted with high load shock absorbers. Should U bolt failure occur the rear axle may become insecure.
Recalled vehicles will have the subject shock absorbers replaced.
ENGINE MAY BE SWITCHED OFF INADVERTENTLY
It has been identified that a concern exists with the folding type ignition key in that if accidentally knocked and turned through contact with the driver's knee the engine can be switched off
Recalled vehicles will have the current ignition key replaced with one with a shorter grip.
REAR WHEEL MAY FAIL
It has been identified thatthe potential exists for the rear wheel of subject machines to fail. Should this occur control of the machine is likely to be lost.
Recalled machines will have the rear wheel replaced.
STEERING MAY FAIL
It has been identified that the bolts retaining the Pitman arm on trucks fitted with VOK-03 or VOK-5 axles may become loose as a result of them being incorrectly tightened during production. If ignored the potential exists for the steering to fail.
Recalled vehicles will have the subject bolts re-torqued or replaced. In cases of damage to the Pitman arm or steering knuckle theses will also be replaced.
TYRE PRESSURE INSTRUCTIONS ARE INCORRECT POSSIBILITY OF BLOW OUT
It has been identified that the vehicle certification label may have stated the incorrect front tyre pressures.Should the vehicle be operated with incorrect tyre pressures over heating and a blow out may occur.
Recalled vehicles will have the certification label replaced with one which states the correct tyre pressures.
RISK OF FIRE
It has been identified that the positive electrical cable between the battery and the starter can chafe on the chassis frame. If ignored the potential exists for an outbreak of fire.
Recalled vehicles will have the subject cable rerouted.
POWER STEERING MAY BE LOST
It has been identified that the in- line power steering fluid filter can block due to failure of the filter screen to adhere to the housing resulting in a rise in return line pressure. In this situation the return hose can separate from the filter or steering gear fittingresulting in a sudden loss of power steering fluid and steering power assistance. Sudden loss of steering power assistance without warning could make the vehicle difficult to steer resulting in an accident.
Recalled vehicles will have the subject filters replaced with those of a larger capacity.
STEERING MAY FAIL
It has been identified that the bolts which attach the steering arm to the steering shaft may have been under or over tightened. This can result in the bolts failing due to fatigue and loss of steering control.
Recalled vehicles will have the steering arm bolts replaced and if necessary the steering arm.
FUEL HOSE MAY FAIL
Fuel hoses may fail prematurely due to them being made to incorrect specification.
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to replace the fuel hose with one of the correct specification.
FUEL MAY LEAK.
It has been identified that the position of the ties which secure the filler cap drain and fuel breather hoses is incorrect. In this condition the safe operation of the machine could be impaired.
Recalled machines will have the clips on the fuel breather and drain hoses inspected and replaced as necessary.
TAIL LIGHT MAY NOT WORK
It has been identified that a fault can occur with the tail position light which if it occurs will cause the light to operate incorrectly so that the illumination falls below the homologation standard.
Recalled machines will be fitted with a countermeasure tail light unit.
POSSIBLE INADVERTENT SELECTION OF FOUR WHEEL STEERING
It has been identified that the possibility may exist that in error the driver may be able to select the sweep function whilst the vehicle is in second (top) gear. Should this occur due to the fact that in sweep mode four wheel steer is engaged vehicle stability could be compromised.
As a preventative measure the manufacturer is to fit a security relay which will prevent the possibility of the sweep function being engaged whilst the vehicle is in second gear.
