SPA1 Cell Modules
On affected vehicles the High Voltage (HV) Battery may have a manufacturing defect which could cause the battery cells to overheat when the HV Battery is fully charged. In a worst-case scenario there is a risk of fire when the vehicle is parked up with a fully charged HV Battery.
Check and replace the HV Battery if necessary and install modified software.

Remove engine compartment cover
On affected vehicles engine compartment covers were fitted that if incorrectly installed can come loose from their attachments. An unsecured engine compartment cover could touch the hot area of the turbocharger and result in smouldering damage or even a fire.
The engine compartment cover must be removed. Check for security prior to journey if loose remove if possible if not contact dealer immediately for rectification.

Replacing rear seat backrest
The rear seat backrest may not comply with crash safety requirements due to an inadequate weld joint. This means that there is an increased risk of rear seat passengers being injured in the event of a frontal collision if heavy loads are being transported in the luggage compartment. Until the repair has been performed we request that you do not transport any heavy loads in the luggage compartment.
For safety reasons it is necessary to replace the right rear seat backrest.
