ENGINE MAY CUT OUT
The earth cable for the battery may be too short and could break. If this happens the vehicle electrical circuit will fail. This could cause the engine to cut out.
Recall all affected vehicles and replace the battery earth cable.

Recall all affected vehicles and replace the battery earth cable.
LOSS OF DIRECTIONAL CONTROL
It is possible that the above vehicles are fitted with a defective power assisted steering pump which could fail. If this occurs it could have the potential to affect the directional control of the vehicle.
Recall all effected vehicles to replace the power assisted steering pump.
STEERING MAY BE AFFECTED
The main shaft for the Dynamic Power Steering may crack and fragment. It is possible for a fragment to lodge in the mechanism and cause the operator to lose control of the steering.
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to inspect and if necessary replace the Dynamic Power Steering unit.

SHORT CIRCUIT MAY OCCUR
Due to the ingress of moisture it is possible that a short circuit can occur in the additional coolant pump for the exhaust turbocharger. The driver will be informed of the issue by a warning message on the display in the instrument panel. If not addressed it is possible for further heat build up in the pump which may cause the plug connection and housing to melt and in extreme cases a localised fire in the engine compartment or vehicle.
Recall all affected vehicles for the replacement of the additional coolant pump.

FIRE MAY OCCUR
The electric heater of the charge air preheating system can overheat and a vehicle fire may occur.
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to carry out modifications to the electrical actuation system of this heater.
FIRE MAY OCCUR
In certain circumstances the seal between the fuel injector pipes and the hose that connects them may not be sufficient and over time a fuel leak may develop with the associated risk of fire.
Fitment of a new remedial fuel pipe.
SEAT BELT MAY NOT RETRACT
Insufficient clearance between the connector of the drivers side seat belt pretensioner and the seat cushion may prevent the seat belt from retracting.
Carry out modification to seat cushion.

Fitment of a new remedial fuel pipe.
ENGINE SPEED MAY INCREASE UNINTENTIONALLY
It is possible that the internal contact resistance of the crimped joints for the grounding between the throttle position sensor (TPS) and engine control module may increase due to engine vibration. This can lead to an increased TPS voltage output which could lead to an increase in engine revolutions whilst at idle without any throttle input.
Recall all affected vehicles for the installation of a new wiring harness.
BRAKING PERFORMANCE MAY BE AFFECTED
It has been identified that the brake pads fitted to the front and rear of the vehicle during production do not comply with ECE 13 Regulation. In extreme cases this may affect the braking performance of the vehicle.
Recall all affected vehicles and replace the brake pads.
THROTTLE MAY SEIZE
During very cold wet weather conditions it is possible that moisture could enter the throttle and/or brake cable and start to freeze. This can restrict the movement and in extreme conditions cause a temporary seizing of the cable.
Recall all affected machines for the fitment of new components.
VEHICLE MAY BECOME UNSTABLE
The attachment of the panhard rod to the skeleton may crack. If the cracks develop the stability of the vehicle could be affected.
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to check the panhard rod to skeleton mounting area and where there is no damage weld on reinforcement panels and square tubes. Where damage is present carry out appropriate rectification work as advised by the Service Support Desk.
RISK OF FIRE
It is possible that where these vehicles are operating in high road salt conditions the fuel tank straps could fracture due to corrosion. This could lead to the detachment of the fuel tank resulting in the fuel tank contacting the road surface causing a fuel leak which could cause a risk of a vehicle fire.
Recall all affected vehicles and replace the fuel tank straps with improved salt corrosion protection straps.
PEDALS MAY BE OBSTRUCTED
It is possible that the air conditioning unit air diffuser ducting on the driver's side may detach which could obstruct access to the driver control pedals.
Recall all the affected vehicles for the fitment of an additional support part to the air conditioning unit outlet ducting.
CRUISE CONTROL MAY FAIL TO DEACTIVATE
It has been identified that a fault in the brake light switch may in very rare cases cause the cruise control to not deactivate when the brake is applied.
Recall the affected vehicles and replace the brake switch.
REVERSING LAMP MAY NOT FUNCTION CORRECTLY
Reverse light may not function. Due to a fatigue fracture where the lead wire fixes to the reverse light switch as a result the reverse light will not light up.
Replacement of reverse light switch.
REAR AXLE MAY MOVE
It is possible the rear axle leaf spring retaining bolts were not tightened to the correct specification during production. This could allow movement between the axle and leaf spring. In extreme circumstances this could cause the vehicle to lose control.
Recall all affected vehicles to replace the U bolts with new items and tighten them to the correct specification.
