Exhaust Aftertreatment System (EATS) Rework
On affected vehicles there is a risk that the Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) may overheat when performing a regeneration if there is excessive soot accumulated inside it. In a worst-case scenario this could result in a vehicle fire.

Roof Mounted H2 Fuel Tank Support Bracket Bolts May Loosen
Bolts in the brackets supporting the five roof mounted H2 tanks located at each end of each tank have the potential to loosen and drop out permitting movement of the bracket(s) and attached tank(s) with secondary movement in the associated system pipework. Under extreme braking conditions or if the vehicle is involved in a road traffic accident the roof tanks may become dislodged or become detached from the vehicle.
replacement of all bolts and nuts on the frame and frame attachment
Cylinder head cover bolts inspection
Audi conducts programmes to constantly monitor the quality of its products. As part of this we have discovered that individual bolts in the cylinder head cover area on your vehicle may become loose as a result of a manufacturing issue. Depending on the extent to which the bolts become loose engine oil may leak and drip onto hot surfaces which poses a fire risk. If you notice smoke in the engine compartment park the vehicle safely and without delay.
To ensure the bolts are secured correctly a check must be performed.

Update software of control units
Mercedes-Benz are updating the engine control unit software in diesel vehicles with emissions standard Euro 5 as part of a mandatory recall. This measure was supposedly carried out previously on the vehicles included in this measure but the software update was not properly documented in our systems at that time.
Mercedes-Benz will perform control unit programming on the vehicles affected using the Service Measure special process as part of a recall. As part of this the software of the affected control units will be updated. The scope of the affected control units may vary depending on the vehicle equipment.
