LOSS OF CONTROL
Hydraulic clutch master cylinder may fail to disengage engine on initial gear engagement leading to the machine lurching forward and falling over. This condition gives an elevated risk of injury to the rider and bystanders.
Recall the machines that are likely to be affected to inspect and clean the clutch master cylinder piston. Where necessary the master cylinder piston will be replaced.

INDICATORS AND/OR OTHER VEHICLE LIGHTS MAY SWITCH OFF OR BLINK WITHOUT WARNING
Due to poor connectivity the indicators and/or vehicle lights may turn off or blink
On affected vehicles apply lubricant to switch connections
HANDBRAKE MAY RELEASE UNINTENTIONALLY
The Hand Brake Valve handle automatic locking function may not maintain the park position. The handle may remain in the lock only temporarily and flip back from the parking position into the driving position in which case the vehicle can runaway.
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected and exchange the Hand Brake Valve with a quality assured unit.

FUEL MAY LEAK
The fuel filter may leak at fuel system working pressure from the top cover. This is due to a none conformance during the manufacture of the filter.
Recall the filters that are likely to be affected and replace with quality assured units.

ENGINE MAY STALL
There is a possibility of intermittent loss of ignition. This is a result of fretting at a terminal on the ECU which is caused by movement of the ECU bracket and battery tray and relative movement of the engine wiring harness.
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected and replace the battery tray and apply electrical contact sealent.
FIRE MAY OCCUR - STOP RIDE STOP SALE
The engine may continue to run in an extreme over heat condition which can lead to the destruction of the engine and loss of oil and coolant. Additionally the fasteners used to attach the oil drain tube to the turbo system may loosen allowing a release of engine oil. The release of engine oil onto hot surfaces may pose a fire hazard.
Recall the machines that are likely to be affected and change the turbo drain tube and fastenings check and where necessary replace the heat shields replace the fasteners for the heat shield (where directed) insert the Owners Manual Addendum and re-flash the ECU. Where directed the Engine Temperature Sensing System will have to be checked.
REAR OXYGEN SENSOR MAY FAIL
If an electrical short occurs in the supply to the rear oxygen sensor the senor will fail but the driver will not see an immediate warning. A MIL warning may display after continued driving depending on driving/vehicle characteristics.
Reprogram the ECU to display a warning if the rear oxygen sensor fails.
FUEL MAY LEAK
A tooling problem during manufacture could result in the cylinder head not being to specification. It is possible that the fuel rail could loosen and fuel leaks cannot be ruled out. The customer may notice a smell of fuel because of the leak. In the most unfavourable case it is thought possible the fuel could ignite in the engine compartment.
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected and replace the cylinder head.
OIL MAY LEAK IN EXTREME CASES MAY CAUSE A FIRE
Affected vehicles may have been built with an incorrect crimping of the turbocharger oil feed pipe connector. This may cause oil leakage which may lead to odours smoke oil specks on the floor or engine failure. In the worst case a fire in the engine compartment could occur.
On affected vehicles replace the turbo charger oil feed pipe.
SECONDARY BONNET CATCH MAY NOT FUNCTION CORRECTLY
If the bonnet is not shut correctly on the main bonnet catch and the bonnet then opens to the secondary catch the secondary bonnet catch is not strong enough to hold the bonnet in a closed position. At high motorway speeds the bonnet can then fly open and block the drivers view. There is also a warning light to inform the driver that the bonnet is not closed correctly which is not functioning as intended.
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected and replace the secondary bonnet catch for a new stronger item. A new program will be downloaded into the cluster to make the bonnet open warning light work correctly.

VEHICLE STABILITY CONTROL MAY NOT OPERATE CORRECTLY
A filter in the Vehicle Stability Assist / Anti lock braking modulator may break and foul one of the one-way check valves in the modulator. If the check valve does not operate correctly the vehicle stability control (using brake pressure) will not operate correctly. In some driving conditions the vehicle stability system may not be able to control the vehicle as intended and this may result in a skid or loss of vehicle control. The braking system does not lose function.
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected and replace the VSA modulator.
AIRBAG MAY NOT FUNCTION AS INTENDED
Due to vibrations particles inside the airbag control unit may cause a short circuit. This may reset the control module illuminating the airbag warning lamp and prevent the airbag(s) from acting as intended during a collision.
On affected vehicle replace the airbag control unit.
AIRBAG MAY INCORRECTLY DEPLOY
On affected vehicles the driver's air bag inflation device may not conform to specification. As a result may not deploy correctly during an impact.
Replace the driver's air bag module on affected vehicles
