FUEL MAY LEAK FROM FUEL TAP WHEN OPERATED
On affected machines fuel may leak from the fuel tap when it is operated.
Installation of a new fuel tap.
LEFT FRONT SEAT BELT PRE-TENSIONER MAY NOT MEET SPECIFICATION
The propellant mix in certain seatbelt pre-tensioners ignitors may be incorrect. If the front seatbelt pre-tensioners are deployed the lock function of the pre-tensioners cannot be guaranteed.
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected and replace the front seatbelts that are likely to be affected.

Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected and replace the front seatbelts that are likely to be affected.
SIDE AND/OR KNEE AIRBAG MAY FAIL TO DEPLOY IN A COLLISION
The airbag initiator may be defective and may prevent the side airbag(s) and/or knee airbag deploying in the event of an accident. In a collision the airbags not deploying could put the occupants at further risk.
Recall the 1943 vehicles that are likely to be affected to check and where necessary replace the side and knee protection airbags complete with initiators.

HANDLEBARS MAY BECOME LOOSE / INSECURE
The clip-on handlebar is susceptible to Stress Corrosion Cracking. This can cause the part to fail during use and could affect control of the machine. The manufacturer recommends to immediately STOP using the clip-ons
Replace affected components with an alternative version with a superior resistance to Stress Corrosion Cracking.

GEARBOX MAY FAIL TO HOLD IN PARK POSITION 'P' AND VEHICLE COULD ROLL AWAY
If the vehicle is parked on a hill with park selected and the parking brake off or not fully applied the vehicle may not stay stationary. This results in a higher risk of collision.
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected and replace the parking brake mechanism and park wheel which are inside of the reducer.
SIDE AIR CURTAIN MAY NOT DEPLOY
The curtain airbag (one or both side) may not deploy in the event of a side impact because the pyrotechnic mix ratio in the ignitor could be incorrect..
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected and check the serial number of the curtain airbag. Replace airbag if required.
FRONT SEAT FIXING MECHANISM MAY BE INSECURE
Due to a fault in the supplier's production process the bolt on the outer side of the seat mechanism on both front seats might not have been fixed properly. In cases where the bolt loosens the customer would be alerted by noise coming from the seat and a noticeable increase in seat clearance/movement. If this is ignored by the customer the securing bolt on the outer side of the seat might come off. If the securing bolt comes off the seat can move backwards in a rear end crash situation.
The bolt on the seat mechanism will be checked for excessive clearance and if necessary replaced.

B-PILLAR TRIM INSULATION TOO CLOSE TO THE SEAT BELT PRETENTIONER
In the event of a colision which deploys the front seat belt retractor pre-tensioner there is a possibility that the insulation material on the inner face of lower 'B' pillar trim could be subjected to a concentrated heat source that could ignite the insulation material resulting in fire.
Remove a section of the insulation material on both B pillar trims.
IGNITION SWITCH WIRING HARNESS INSECURE
The ignition switch harness connector of some Nissan Micra (K14 models) equipped with a mechanical key may not be correctly locked in position. As a result the connector may disconnect which in an extreme case could result in engine shut down while driving with no possibility to restart.
On affected vehicles inspect wiring harness and where necessary rework the ignition switch retaining latch.
STEERING POWER ASSIST MAY DEACTIVATE
The connector on the electric power steering control unit may not be properly sealed against water entry. If water enters the control unit the power steering assistance can be lost. The steering assistance not working could increase the risk of collision.
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected and replace the plug housing of the electric power steering.

Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected and replace the plug housing of the electric power steering.
FRONT SEAT BELT PRETENSIONER MAY MALFUNCTION DURING DEPLOYMENT
Due to a non-conformity in the supplier's production process the front seat belt pretensioner could malfunction in the event of a collision.
Correct operation will be restored by applying a service kit designed for this purpose. Affected vehicles will be recalled to have this fitted.

DISC BOLT HOLES HAVE INCORRECT THREAD
The half shaft retaining bolt holes in the rear disc may have an incorrect thread. Retaining bolts may fit but may become loose and fall out. This would allow the half shaft and wheel/hub assembly to detach from the vehicle.
Replace affected components with discs which have the correct thread. Check and where necessary replace retaining bolts. Manufacturer also advises to replace brake pads and hub seal.
BRAKES MAY FAIL
The Combined Braking valve has a rubber washer fitted to a threaded fitment. The rubber washer isnt suitable for the purpose and has shown signs of allowing hydraulic fluid to pass. If the seal was to completely fail it would result in a complete brake failure. The motorcycle would lose all braking ability which could result in a serious incident.
Recall the 225 machines that are likely to be affected and replace the front caliper two way valve brake hose and associated components.
