AUXILLIARY HEATER ELEMENT IN AIR CONDITIONING MAY FAIL AND/OR OVERHEAT
The auxiliary heater element in the air conditioner may fail as the result of overheating in the area of the connectors. This can lead to smoulder damage or potentially a fire.
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected and change the auxiliary heater element for one with optimised electrical connectors.
ECU RELAY MAY OVERHEAT AND CAUSE ECU TO MALFUNCTION
The engine Electronic Control Unit Relay may overheat and fail. This could interrupt power supply to the engine and will cause the engine malfunction warning lamp to illuminate. The engine may stall and may not restart.
On affected vehicles the engine ECU power relay will be replaced with a new relay.

ENGINE MAY OVERHEAT
The engine electronic cooling management control strategy and the maximum temperature alert threshold could cause the engine to overheat. This could result in a warning light and a message being displayed on the instrument panel.
On affected vehicles download a new engine management software in order to modify the cooling management parameters to improve the control of the engine operating temperature.

HEAD AIRBAG MAY NOT DEPLOY CORRECTLY
The Head airbag may have been damaged during installation. As a result the airbag may not deploy correctly after activation.
On affected vehicles inspect and where necessary relace the Head airbag module
PASSENGER AIRBAG MAY NOT DEPLOY AS INTENDED
The weld joint that joins the central tube for the dash panel to the chute may be defective. The result could be damage to the passenger airbag potentially reducing the airbags protective capabilities.
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected and replace the dashboard with a quality assured unit.
PASSENGER AIRBAG MAY NOT DEPLOY AS INTENDED
A connection between the detonator and generator in the front passenger airbag module may not be correctly welded. Therefore the airbag may not be triggered in the event of a collision.
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected and replace the front passenger airbag module.
TRANSMISSION MAY FAIL
The strength of some gears in the transmission may not be sufficient and could break if they receive excessive impact force during shifting. Drive could be lost and In the worst case the transmission may lock.
On affected machines replace the 2nd 3rd and 4th output gears and the 2nd input gear

RISK OF ELECTRICAL SHORT CIRCUIT
A potential chafing condition has been identified between the alternator power cables and urea coolant pipe which may result in short circuit. Electrical cables might short circuit.
Add a rubber spacer with cable tie to secure power cables from chafing on coolant pipe. If the power cable is identified to be damaged the cable will be replaced.
FUEL MAY LEAK FROM TANK FILLER NOZZLE
Due to a deviation in the manufacturing process the fuel tank filler nozzle may leak. A modified version has been developed.
On affected machines replace the fuel tank filler neck and gasdket. The fule level sensor must alsio be replaced.
BONDING OF THE WINDSHIELD MAY BE INADEQUATE
The bonding of the windshield in the lower area may not correspond to the specification. During a collision the bonding may fail and the windscreen may detach. This could have an adverse affect on the effectiveness of the passenger airbag.
On affected vehicles check bonding and if necessary replace windscreen.

On affected machines replace the fuel tank filler neck and gasdket. The fule level sensor must alsio be replaced.
PASSENGER AIRBAG MAY NOT DEPLOY AS INTENDED
There is a possibility of a faulty weld on the gas generator. If the airbag is deployed there is a risk that parts could be projected into the cabin with risk of injury to the occupants.
On affected vehicles replace the front passenger air bag module with a correctly manufactured version.
FRONT SEAT BELT TENSIONERS MAY NOT FUNCTION
The front seatbelt pre-tensioner ignitors may not perform as expected. This could increase the risk of injury to the seat occupants. The lock function of the seatbelts is not impaired.
On affected vehicles replace seatbelts with quality assured units.

FUEL MAY LEAK
The fuel tank shield may foul the fuel supply pipes. Over a period of time this may cause a fuel leak.
On affected vehicles check condition of fuel pipes and replace where necessary. In addition add extra protection to existing and replacement pipes.
