Consumer warning and recall of motorhomes due to possible gas leakage from the gas cooker pipe

    Defect

For affected vehicles a crack in the gas cookers filling pipe may cause a continuous gas leak when the gas cylinder is opened. The gas -air mixture could be ignited by a heat source and could result in deflagration and/or a fire in the vehicle. It is also possible that a jet of flame could shoot out of the gas cooker towards someone.

    Remedy

Owners of affected vehicles will be asked to immediately close the gas supply to the cooker by turning off the gas shut off valve to the horizontal position then affix the supplied warning sticker to inform potential users that it must be kept closed. Affected owners will then be contacted again to visit their authorised dealer to have the cooker replaced.

SRT372 Electric Compressor on 2023MY–2025MY Solterra

    Defect

Due to the programming of the HVAC control ECU software under certain conditions such as a specific failure mode of the electric compressor the HVAC system will enter a failsafe mode that suspends the heater operation of the system and affects defroster function. In some cases when the vehicle is operated in certain low temperatures the defrosting performance reduces and may not remove frost ice and/or fog from the windshield glass. This can reduce driver visibility and increase the risk of a crash in certain driving conditions

    Remedy

Update the HVAC control ECU software.
