C0506 - HPCU SW update. FHE/FME/FMLE (4) (Phase 1) / C0520 IRMU replace. FHE/FME (4) (Phase 2) / C0521 IRMU replace FHE/FME/FMLE (4) / FLE/FEE (3) (Phase 3)
On affected vehicles the AC inlet socket and the power outlet for body builder equipment might be incorrectly energized. Therefore in vehicles where AC or DC power outlets are installed there might be voltage with low leakage current inadvertently present inside the AC inlet socket when the power outlet is active. Also when AC charging there might be a voltage with low leakage current inadvertently present on the power outlet.
The insulation monitoring device (IMD) will be replaced by an upgraded version a residual current device (RCPF sensor) will be installed inside the insulation resistance measurement unit and the OCEPS software will be updated. For vehicles built after 2025w21 until 2025w37 will also have the EMC filter reinstalled.

Ball Joint Bracket fixation.
On affected vehicles the front left and right control arm ball-joint bracket screws are at risk of fracture which could affect the vehicle's controllability.
Inspect the marking on the left and right front ball-joint bracket and change if necessary.
