DVLA recall archive
The archive holds 15,570 DVLA vehicle safety recalls dating back to 1992. Filter by manufacturer, year, or keyword. To check whether a specific vehicle is affected by an outstanding recall, run a live VRM recall check for £1.99.

TACHOGRAPH MAY BECOME INOPERATIVE
A power loss to the tachograph may occur when the main switch is turned off because the wiring harnesses to the main switch were assembled incorrectly.
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to reassemble the wiring harnesses to the correct specification.

LOSS OF POWER ASSISTANCE TO STEERING
A power steering hose may come into contact with the engine cooling fan. As a consequence the hose may become damaged and subsequently leak resulting in loss of power steering assistance.
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to fit a new pipe clamp and where necessary a new power steering hose.
SEAT BELT MAY DETACH
Under certain side impact scenarios the side panel on the driver's seat may contact the quick fix seatbelt release button and the belt may detach.
Recall affected vehicles to modify the side panel.
ENGINE MAY STALL
It has been identified thatthe fuel pump electronic module may not operate as intended. This can result in failure of the fuel pump to start. Should this occur the vehicle may suffer a non start rough running or in the worst case the engine may stall without prior warning. Investigation has shown that it may be possible to drive the vehicle for up to 100 m before the fault manifests itself.
Recalled vehicles will have the software within the central electronic module upgraded.

LOSS OF FUEL PRESSURE RESULTING IN ENGINE STALLING WITHOUT WARNING.
It has been identified that the fuel pump pressure regulator may detach from it's spigot within the fuel pump in conditions of high ambient temperature. Should this occur the vehicle would suffer loss of fuel pressure causing the engine to stall with no warning being given to the driver.
Recalled vehicles will have the fuel pump replaced.

ENGINE COOLING FAN MAY FAIL
It has been identified that due to a software issue with the engine cooling fan control module the air conditioning performance may be reduced and the engine coolant temperature may increase. This will result in warning messages being displayed. In extreme cases if the driver does not heed the warnings the engine may fail.
Recalled vehicles will have the cooling fan control module replaced.

FIRE MAY OCCUR
It has been identified that the electrical cables attached to the fuse boxes may not be sufficiently tight. Should this be the case local overheating of the terminals and fuse board may occur.
Recalled vehicles will have the subject connections checked to ensure that they are at the correct torque being rectified as necessary. Should any overheating type damage have occurred (cables or fuse card) the affected component will be changed.

BRAKES MAY NOT PERFORM ADEQUATELY
Brake assistance from the vacuum pressure pump may be reduced under certain cold start conditions. The brakes will still function but more pressure on the pedal will be required than normal.
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to replace the non-return valve in the vacuum pump.

WIPERS MAY NOT OPERATE CORRECTLY
The wipers could function without being turned on or not at all because of a software error in the central electronic module.
