LOSS OF STEERING ASSISTANCE
A hose for the power steering assistance hydraulics could come into contact with the cooling fan. This would cause a noise which an observant driver may be able to hear. If the hose and fan conflict for long enough then it is possible for the hose to leak power steering fluid to the degree that servo assistance could be lost.
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected and check the hydraulic hose for damage and relace as necessary. The hose will then be secured with a modified bracket.
SIPS SYSTEM MAY NOT DEPLOY WHEN REQUIRED
It has been identified that the wiring harness for the Side Impact Protection System airbag (SIPS) on the drivers and passengers front seats may have been routed incorrectly. This could result in the wiring harness becoming damaged which will illuminate the Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) light on the instrument panel. If the SRS light is illuminated then additional care should be taken when driving the vehicle as SRS functions may be affected.
Recall all affected vehicles to check the routing of the wiring harness and if required reroute it and repair any damage.
ROOF HATCH MAY DETACH
During production the roof hatch could have been attached incorrectly. It is possible for the roof hatch to detach and cause a risk of personal injury and vehicle damage.
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to check and where necessary fit a new roof hatch.
STEERING MAY BECOME LIMITED OR BLOCKED
The front suspension road spring eye mounting bolts may not have been torqued to the correct specification. During operation it is possible that the spring eye mounting bolts could work loose and unwind. This could result in the movement of the axle which could compromise the directional control of the vehicle. However the driver should become aware of the issue by noise or found by the maintenance staff during routine maintenance.
Recall all affected vehicles to retorque the mounting bolts.
CAB MAY FALL BACK OR OVER WHEN TILTING
It has been identified that the lower attachment bolt for the cab tilting ram may have been torqued to too high a torque specification. This can result in the bolt becoming stretched which could cause a breakage of the bolt and the cab may either fall backwards or right forwards whilst it is being tilted.
Recall all affected vehicles to replace the lower cab attachment bolt and torque to the correct specification.

SHORT CIRCUIT MAY OCCUR
Wiring and harnesses to alternators starter pre-heater and other ancilliary functions could abrade and cause a short circuit.
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to re-route and secure the affected harnesses and cables.
PARKING BRAKE MAY UNINTENTIONALLY RELEASE
Vehicles with manual gearboxes and start/stop functionality have Parking Brake Module (PBM) software that may allow the parking brake to unintentionally release. The unintended release of the parking brake can only occur when the engine is running and the gearstick moved so it will happen when the vehicle is attended.
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to download upgraded Parking Brake Module (PBM) software.

BRAKES MAY APPLY WITHOUT WARNING OR LONGER THAN EXPECTED STOPPING DISTANCES COULD OCCUR
The brake hoses for the front spring actuators are of insufficient length and the hoses for the front service brakes could be of insufficient length. In certain circumstances the hoses can detach from the nipple allowing the parking brakes to apply or in the case of service brake hose failure longer than expecting stopping distances could occur.
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected and replace the front spring brake hoses and where necessary front service brake hoses with ones of sufficient length.

LOSS OF CONTROL
On affected vehicles nuts securing the draglink(s) may not have been tightened to the correct specification during production. There is a risk that a drag link could detach and steering control would be lost.
On affected vehicles check tighness of securing nuts and if necessary tighten to correct specification.

ROOF MOUNTED BATTERY HATCH MAY OPEN INADVERTENTLY
The fixings for the roof mounted battery hatch may unwind and allow the hatch to open whilst the vehicle is in motion.
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected and replace the fixings for the safety hook the upper and lower lock mechanism brackets and include washers and thread locking compound.
TURBO PRESSURE HOSE MAY LEAK
It has been identified that due to an issue with the crimping process during production the turbo pressure hose may leak. In extreme circumstances it its possible that an oil leak could occur which could result in a risk of a fire if the oil comes into contact with a hot surface.
Recall all affected vehicles and replace the turbo pressure hose.

FIRE MAY OCCUR
It has been identified that the wrong fuse may have been installed during production. This could cause an overload of the tachograph system wiring and ultimately a vehicle fire.
Recall all the affected vehicles and replace the fuse with a lower rated item.
PARKING BRAKE MAY INADVERTENTLY APPLY
Affected vehicles maty be assembled with T nipples in the air tubes which are not to specification. Air tubes may become insecure amd may cause the parking brake to inadvertently apply.
Identify defective T nipples and replace.

CEM SOFTWARE MAY MALFUNCTION
A software issue within the Central Electronic Module (CEM) may cause the left hand (nearside) rear light to stop functioning. This will result in the illumination of a warning light on the instrument panel.
Recall all effected vehicles to install new upgraded software into the CEM.
EXHAUST SLEEVE MAY DETACH
It has been established that the securing process for the exhaust tail pipe sleeve may not be to specification and result in the tail pipe sleeve detaching. This could cause an issue for other road users.
Recall all affected vehicles and secure the exhaust tail pipe sleeve.
