ROOF SPOILER MAY DETACH BECAUSE UNSUITABLE ADHESIVE USED
The roof spoiler can partially or completely detach from the vehicle.
On the affected vehicles the roof spoiler is additionally fixed in position with two bolts

There is the possibility that the adjustment mechanism of the backrest frame of the front seats was incorrectly welded.

THERE IS THE POSSIBILITY THAT A SMALL CHILD COULD CLIMB FROM THE BUNK BED OUT THROUGH THE OPENED ROOF HATCH
There is the possibility that small children could climb from the bunk bed out through the opened roof hatch.
On the affected vehicles protection against climbing out is to be fitted.
THE E-CALL SERVICE FUNCTION MAY NOT ALWAYS FUNCTION
On affected vehicles the e-call service may not function

POSSIBILITY OF HUMIDITY INGRESS IN THE BOWDEN CABLES OF THE DOORS
Possibility of humidity ingress in the Bowden cables of the doors due to missing seals.
Remove cables and humidity and seal off. Poznan produced cables to be replaced.
A WELDED CONNECTION OF THE GEARBOX OIL PIPE CAN CAUSE A LEAK OF GEAR OIL
A welded connection of the gearbox oil pipe can cause a leak of gear oil.
Check whether the gearbox oil pipe is within the affected production period. If this is the case the pipe is replaced.
THE ROOF SPOILER CAN PARTIALLY OR COMPLETELY DETACH FROM THE VEHICLE
The roof spoiler can partially or completely detach from the vehicle.
The roof spoiler is additionally fixed in position with bolts on the rear lid.
OWNER'S MANUALS FOR THE TRANSPORTER WERE INCLUDED INSTEAD OF FOR THE MULTIVAN
On T6.1 California vehicles owner's manuals for the Transporter were included instead of for the Multivan.
On the affected vehicles the Transporter owner's manual is replaced with the Multivan owner's manual.
THE ELECTRIC PARKING BRAKE CAN BE UNINTENTIONALLY RELEASED WHEN DISENGAGING THE CLUTCH PEDAL
The electric parking brake can be unintentionally released when disengaging the clutch pedal.
On the affected vehicles the brake control unit has to be recoded
THE BRAKE SERVO PULL ROD BALL COUPLING MAY HAVE BEEN PUT INTO THE MOUNTING OF THE BRAKE PEDAL INCORRECTLY
The ball coupling of the push rod of the electromechanical brake servo may have been wrongly slotted into the mounting on the brake pedal.
Check the ball coupling into the mounting of the brake pedal. If the ball coupling is incorrectly slotted in the brake servo and mounting in the brake pedal must be replaced.
THE ELECTRIC CHILD LOCK MAY NOT BE MECHANICALLY LOCKED ALTHOUGH SWITCHED ON BY DRIVER
Under very specific conditions the electric child lock is not mechanically locked although it has been switched on by the driver.
On the affected vehicles the software of the on-board supply control unit has to be reconfigured.
BOLTED CONNECTION BETWEEN STEERING SHAFT AND STEERING RACK MAY LOOSEN
The bolted connection between the steering shaft and the steering rack may not have been tightened to the correct torque.
The bolted connection of the intermediate steering shaft has to be replaced
OIL MAY GET INTO THE BRAKE SERVO THROUGH THE VACUUM LINES OF THE TANDEM PUMP.
Oil may get into the brake servo through the vacuum lines of the tandem pump leading to a loss of braking assistance.
Replace the vacuum line from the tandem pump. Check other components for oil and replace if necessary.
CURTAIN AIRBAG UNITS MAY HAVE BEEN FITTED WITH THE GAS GENERATOR WELDED TO THE OUTLET PIPE WHICH IS NOT FAIL PROOF
The curtain airbag unit gas generators may not be fail-proof leading to the airbags not opening completely in the event of an accident.
Replace affected airbag units.
THE WALL THICKNESS OF THE FUEL TANK MAY NOT BE TO SPECIFICATION
The specified wall thickness of the fuel tank can in some places fall below the threshold.
