Backrest bolted connection
On VW ID.4 and ID.7 vehicles of a limited production period the bolted connection of the front seats between backrest and seat pan may be incorrect. The restraint effect of the seat may be insufficient in the event of an accident. There is therefore an increased risk for occupants.
On affected vehicles the bolts on both front seat backrests must be replaced.
Curtain Airbag
In Tiguan Allspace vehicles within a specified range of VINs curtain airbags with a defective gas generator may have been installed due to a manufacturing error. A defective gas generator may cause the airbag not to work correctly and therefore not provide the required level of protection. In the event of an accident where the curtain airbag is deployed components from the gas generator may become detached and injure vehicle passengers

Inspect the side airbag unit and where necessary remove and correctly reinstall the side airbag
On certain vehicles there is a possibility that because of a production problem the propshaft securing bolts for the final drive on gearbox side were not tightened with the correct tightening torque.

On the affected vehicles the propshaft bolted connection is retightened with the correct tightening torque. If bolts are found to be loose all 4 securing bolts must be replaced.
