AIRBAG/BELT TENSIONERS MAY NOT TRIGGER IN EVENT OF AN ACCIDENT
Due to an error in the manufacturing process the air bag and/or seat belt pretensioner may not trigger in the event of a collision
On affected vehicles replace air bag assembly and seatbelt pretensioner where necessary.
FRONT SEAT BACKREST MAY COLLAPSE IN A COLLISION
The back-rests of the front seats may not have been assembled correctly. This may increase risk of injury to occupants during a collision.
On affected vehicles check frames and if necessary replace affected components.
LIGHTS MAY FAIL WITHOUT WARNING
It has been identified that due to a programing issue with the On-Board Supply Control Unit it is possible that the failure of one of the vehicle lights (dipped beam/main beam/daytime running light/rear fog light or indicator) may not be recognised by the control unit and therefore not shown in the instrument cluster. It is also possible that vehicle lights may be shown as faulty when they are not. Furthermore a failure of a dipped beam may not trigger a replacement response (activation of side lights). A light failure without a display in the instrument cluster or without replacement response can pose a danger of an accident especially in the dark.
Recall all affected vehicles to reprogramme the On-Board Supply Control Unit.

SEAT COVER MAY PREVENT SIDE AIRBAG DEPLOYMENT
Seatcovers have been supplied which may affect deployment of the combined side/curtain airbags.
Supply seat covers suitable for vehicle application.
ELECTRONIC STABILITY CONTROL SYSTEM MAY FAIL
The electronic stability control (ESC) unit may have not have been manufactured to the correct specification. This may cause the control unit to malfunction during operation
On affected vehicles check the ESC unit and where necessary replace.
PANORAMIC SUNROOF MAY DETACH
The front panel of the panorama sunroof may not have been bonded correctly. This can lead to rattling noises during a journey. If the loosening front panel is not detected this poses a danger for the following traffic.
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected and replace the front panel of the panorama roof.
CNG TANK MAY BURST
Overtime external damage on the paint coat leads to corrosion on the gas tanks. A tank can burst when being filled if it has been weakened by corrosion which remained undiscovered fo many years. A bursting gas tank can cause serious or fatal injuries.
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected and check the paint syatem. If necessary the gas tanks will be replaced.
FUEL MAY LEAK
A tooling problem during manufacture could result in the cylinder head not being to specification. It is possible that the fuel rail could loosen and fuel leaks cannot be ruled out. The customer may notice a smell of fuel because of the leak. In the most unfavourable case it is thought possible the fuel could ignite in the engine compartment.
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected and replace the cylinder head.
CHILD LOCK MAY DISENGAGE
The door child locks may disengage without driver knowledge. Though the door remains close it is possible for the door to then be opened from the inside.
On affected vehicles inspect lock mechanism and replace where necessary.

SIDE AIRBAG OF FRONT LEFT SEAT MAY NOT DEPLOY CORRECTLY IN COLLISION & MAY HAVE SOME PASSENGER COLLISION PROTECTION MISSING
On affected vehicles the near side front side air bag may have been incorrectly fitted in its module. As a result it may not deploy as intended during a collision increasing the risk of injury.
On affected vehicles replace the nearside front side airbag.
SIDE AIRBAG GAS GENERATOR CANISTER MAY FAIL
For certain vehicles manufactured within a specific period it is possible that the gas generator housing may be damaged if a side airbag is deployed. If the airbag/s were deployed the gas generator could explode and dislodge small metal parts which could cause injury to the vehicle occupants.
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected and check the dates of manufacture for the left and or right side airbags. Where a possibly affected airbag is found it will be replaced.

SUNROOF MAY INJURE OCCUPANTS WHEN IT IS CLOSED FROM OUTSIDE VEHICLE
On certain vehicles with Panorama sun roof the legally specified limits of the clamping forces for convenience opening and closing of the sun roof may not be kept. When closing the Panorama sun roof from outside with the vehicle key (convenience closing) if any body parts are in the operating area of the sun roof they can get pressed against the roof frame and possibly get injured.
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected and deactivate the convenience opening and closing of the Panorama sun roof. To do this the software for the on-board supply control unit and the sun roof control unit must be updated/ configured.
BRAKE PEDAL MAY FAIL AND MAKE HARD BRAKING IMPOSSIBLE
On affected vehicles the retaining clip for the pivot shaft of the brake pedal bearing may have inadvertently been lost during assembly. Movement of the shaft may affect braking efficiency and in extreme cases cause loss of braking.
Inspect pivot shaft mounting and where necessary fit a new clip.
UNINTENTIONAL DEPLOYMENT OF AN AIRBAG
Due to an incorrect manufacturing process swarf may accumulate in the airbag control module and cause a short circuit. In extreme instances this may cause unintentional deployment of an air bag.
On affected vehicles replace the airbag control module.
BONDED WINDOWS AND/OR FASTENING RAILS MAY DETACH
It is possible that some vehicles have poor paint adhesion which can lead to a reduced retaining force of the bonded windows/fastening rails. The windows may not remain attached to the vehicle when it is subject to high forces during a collision.
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to remove the windscreen and prepare and repaint the receiving surfaces then re-bond the windscreen. If there are also windows in the load area these will be treated the same.
BRAKING PERFORMANCE MAY BE AFFECTED
The central wiring harness may not have been correctly connected to the central electrics unit. If the connector comes loose it can affect certain electrical components including braking assistance.
On affected vehicles Check wiring connection and if necessary secure connection.
