Hilux Occupant Classification System calibration
For certain vehicles there is a possibility that the zero-point calibration of the Occupant Classification System (OCS) that provides input to the Supplemental Restraint System is incorrect.
Calibrate the Occupant Classification System (OCS).
Seat fixations are not according to specification on certain Toyota Proace and Proace Verso
On affected vehicles the front and/or rear seat fixing points may have a reduced strength due to the thread of the fixing nut not being of the correct specification.
The fixings will be reworked with new nuts and bolts fitted.

2nd Row Rear Seat Back Frame On Certain Toyota Highlander
On affected vehicles certain points on the ends of the 40% side of the rear seat-back mid-bar may not have been manufactured with a minimum radius.
Installation of a protective cover on the second-row rear 40% split seat back frame mid-bar end.
Incorrect Rear Coil Springs Installed on Certain Toyota Proace and Proace Verso
On affected vehicles incorrect specification rear coil springs may have been installed.
Carry out check and replace coil springs if required.

Camera Replacement on Multiple Models
Due to insufficient laser welding of the camera case at the supplier during a specific production period there is a possibility that the camera case may separate when exposed to external stress over time allowing water to leak into the camera. If this occurs the circuit inside the camera can short leading to an inability to display an image of the area in front of and/or behind the vehicle.
Inspect camera and replace if necessary.

LSS & TSS 3.0 Forward Recognition Camera on Multiple Models
Due to the programming of the forward recognition camera software there is a possibility that the memory inside the forward recognition camera could fail during processing when the ignition is turned OFF. If this occurs the PCS will not activate on the next ignition start causing warning lights to illuminate audible chimes to sound and messages to display on the instrument panel.
Reprogram the Forward Recognition Camera.
Audio Head Unit Replacement on Certain Aygo X
Affected vehicles are equipped with an audio head unit which has map data and speed limit information which are used as an input for the ISA (Intelligent Speed Assistance). Due to inappropriate software there is a possibility that the audio head unit display turns black and the unit stops working. If this condition occurs the rear camera image is not displayed during reverse manoeuvres and the ISA function does not work. As a result the vehicles do not comply with EU regulations and the risk of an accident increases.
Replace the audio head unit.
Remote Parking via Mobile App on Certain Toyota C-HR
Affected vehicles are equipped with an advanced park system which can be operated remotely by the driver when outside the vehicle using a smartphone application. There is a risk an error may occur in an Electronic Control Unit (ECU) when the finger movements on the smartphone application are stopped or the finger is removed within three seconds after the remote-control function is activated. If this occurs the shift range will be changed from Park to Drive or Reverse and the brakes will be released without any finger operation on the smartphone resulting in the vehicle creeping forward or backward which could increase the risk of a crash.
Reprogram the Clearance Sonar Electronic Control Unit (ECU) and Brake Electronic Control Unit (ECU) with modified software.
On certain vehicles there is an error in the specific software calibration of the Engine Electronic Control Unit. As a consequence the Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL) will not turn ON when the urea consumption (which is part of the exhaust after treatment system) is lower than target threshold.

Update the software of the Engine Electronic Control Unit
Affected vehicles are equipped with a transmission control computer where there is a possibility that the weld of the control computer case joint surface could be insufficient.

Replace the transmission valve body with a new one containing a new transmission control computer
Affected vehicles may have an engine that was incorrectly assembled due to improper setting of the high-pressure fuel pump and/or improper setting of the timing belt.
Affected vehicles may have an engine that was incorrectly assembled due to improper setting of the high-pressure fuel pump and/or improper setting of the timing belt.
Check high pressure fuel pump setting and replace engine if not correct. If high pressure fuel pump setting is correct check timing belt setting and replace timing belt if necessary.
On affected vehicles due to a programming error there is a possibility that a multi-information display used for warning and indicator lights vehicle gauges messages etc will become blank and will not display certain warnings and indicators. As a result other functions such as turn signal lamps hazard lights and the Pre-Collision System will be deactivated and the vehicle may not meet certain regulations. Driving without these functions may result in an increased risk of a crash in certain driving conditions.

Reprogram the multi-information display electronic control unit (ECU) with modified software.
On affected vehicles minor impact to the lower front bumper cover could break the mounting tabs resulting in the lower bumper cover the engine under cover and the front wheel arch liners detaching from the vehicle while driving.

Inspect the mounting tabs of the upper front bumper cover for damage if no damage is found modified retention hardware will be fitted. If damage is found the upper and lower front bumper cover will be replaced and modified retention hardware fitted.
Affected vehicles are fitted with a high-pressure fuel pump which over time could develop a crack which could lead to a fuel leak and a risk of a vehicle fire.

Affected vehicles have an inappropriate design of the control circuit of the rear combination lamp and the voltage applied to the LEDs in the rear combination lamp could be reduced in certain circumstances. If this were to occur the rear turn signals and/or the hazard warning flasher may temporarily become inoperable. If the condition is present the driver may notice the turn signal indicator rapidly flashing on the instrument panel when the turn signal switch is turned on but other road users may not realize that the rear turn signal or the hazard warning flasher have been activated potentially increasing the risk of a crash.
