    SPARE WHEEL MAY BECOME DETACHED

    Defect

The spare wheel carrier winch system may allow the spare wheel to be loosely installed after the customer has used the winch. In this condition the spare wheel might move during driving which may damage and eventually break the cable and guiding pin of the winch system. In this worst case the spare wheel would become detached from the vehicle.

    Remedy

Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to replace the complete spare wheel winch system.
