C0544 Rear Axle Hub nut replace
There is a combined risk that rear axle hub nuts might have the tightening torque relaxed and the hub might not have been locked looked correctly. In the worst case it could lead the vehicle to lose a rear wheel set on road.
The current hub nut will be replaced by a new hub nut the specified torque will be applied and the nut will be crimped against the axle housing.
Front lower arm Bolts
For certain vehicles and as a preventative measure there is concern involving the locking nuts in the area of the front suspension lower arm ball joints for where loosening of the fixings cannot be ruled out.
Check of the tightening of the front suspension lower arm ball joint nuts and if necessary replace both nuts
C0507 – IRMU & EMC FILTER REPLACE
On affected vehicles there is a risk of electric shock if the AC charging inlet socket (or the power cable to external equipment) is severely damaged and you touch an exposed electrical conducting part and at the same time touch the chassis or other earth connected part of the vehicle.
The insulation monitoring device (IMD) will be replaced by an upgraded version a residual current device (RCPF sensor) will be installed inside the insulation resistance measurement unit and software updated. If necessary some vehicles will have the EMC filter reinstalled.
C0500 – IRMU Replace
The AC inlet socket and the power outlet for body builder equipment might be incorrectly energized. It happens because these two features are not fully electrically isolated from each other. Therefore in vehicles where AC or DC power outlets are installed there might be voltage with low leakage current inadvertently present inside the AC inlet socket when the power outlet is active. Also when AC charging there might be a voltage with low leakage current inadvertently present on the power outlet .
Inspection and replacement of the Insulation Resistance Monitoring (IRM) Junction box.
No AdBlue consumption is shown in the cluster.
On affected vehicles due to a production nonconformity no AdBlue consumption is shown in the instrument cluster and therefore does not comply with the relevant regulations.
Activation of the Urea Dosing Module (UDM) check and if necessary replace the urea injector.
C0515 – Accelerator pedal support replace
For certain vehicles there is a concern involving the accelerator pedal for where breakage cannot be ruled out.
Replacement of the accelerator pedal assembly.
Injection Computer Software Update
For certain vehicles reprogramming of the injection computer is required. Without this software update it could lead to breakdown or the vehicle failing to start.
Reprogramme the injection computer
Accelerator Pedal Assembley
For certain vehicles the end-stop breaking force of the accelerator pedal is lower than the intended technical specification. This may lead to a rupture of the accelerator pedal assembly if the pedal is pressed vigorously.
Replacement of the accelerator pedal assembly.

Risk of parking brake actuator failing
For certain vehicles a concern involving the electric traction reducer parking brake mechanism actuator or gearbox engagement actuator within the transmission may result in the parking brake mechanism actuator no longer correctly positioning the locking pawl in the “P lock”.
Replacement of the electric traction reducer parking brake mechanism actuator or gearbox Engagement Actuator.

Rear Door Top Door Strikers
On certain vehicles the rear swing door strikers have a prominent character. Injuries may occur when entering or exiting from the rear of the vehicle (e.g. during loading or unloading).
The preventive measure is the addition of protective covers on the door strikers at the top of the two rear swing doors.
Steering box and the steering column intermediate shaft
For affected vehicles there is an issue involving the steering gear in the area of the torque sensor for where damage or cracking cannot be ruled out. The consequences are that loss of assistance or in some cases loss of control.
Replacement of the the steering box and the steering column intermediate shaft.
C0456 Gear selector switch replace
On affected vehicles there is a risk of premature wear inside the gear selector switch. This could lead to the vehicle decelerating and moving backwards unintentionally without any command by the driver.
Fit a modified gear selector switch and install updated software.

C0446 Traction Battery Replace & C0485 Traction Battery repair
There is a risk that a small metal piece from a broken terminal fixation might come loose and create a short circuit between battery cells inside the traction battery which might lead to overheating. There will be a red warning in the instrument cluster to the driver if a short-circuit is detected inside the battery before the battery overheats.
Replace Traction batteries

Rear door hinges
For certain vehicles there is an issue involving the conformity of the four hinges of the rear doors for where a missing shaft cannot be ruled out.
Inspect the hinges and if required replace.
VECU SOFTWARE UPDATE
On affected vehicles the accelerator pedal calibration is not working correctly which can cause the vehicle to accelerate at brake pedal release when selecting drive or reverse.
Update the accelerator pedal software.
REAR AXLE STUB AXLE CHECK
On affected vehicles the rear stub axle material is not compliant to hardness specification. There is a risk the stub axle could break while driving.
Check the stub axle for cracks and replace if necessary.
