MCU inverter
On affected vehicles the Motor Control Unit (MCU) Inverter may have a manufacturing deviation which could lead to gearbox malfunctions and the risk of an internal electrical short circuit leading to overheating or a fire.
Replace the MCU Inverter.
VSM software missing AEB telltale in case of blind camera.
On certain Peugeot vehicles the Automatic Emergency Braking Assist telltale fails to illuminate if the front camera is blocked. No AEB warning telltale meaning no warning light appears in the instrument cluster. An additional pop-up appears for around 10 seconds at each key on/key off (Driving Assistance Sensor Blind: clean sensor see User Manual). The Automatic Emergency Braking system is operating in a degraded mode but remains functional due to radar support.
To rectify this issue we will update the Vehicle System Management software
Peugeot 3008 Wheel Bolt Tightening.
Affected vehicles may have improperly tightened wheel nuts following a faulty rework.
Check the torque of the wheel nuts on all for wheels and re-tighten if necessary.
Ball Joint Bracket fixation.
On affected vehicles the front left and right control arm ball-joint bracket screws are at risk of fracture which could affect the vehicle's controllability.
Inspect the marking on the left and right front ball-joint bracket and change if necessary.
Peugeot 3008v2 508v2 Traction Battery
Affected vehicles may have a fault in the High Voltage Battery which could potentially lead to it overheating and in the worst case a battery or vehicle fire. Customers are advised to stop any plug-in charging and eSave charging until the vehicle is reworked.
Update the battery management software or replace the High Voltage Battery if necessary.

Update the battery management software or replace the High Voltage Battery if necessary.
Emission recall – On Board Diagnostics
Vehicles may be affected by incorrect performance of the On-Board-Diagnostics related to Selective Catalytic Reduction system and/or Diesel Particle Filter. The Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL) may not illuminate in the event of a malfunction and therefore does not comply with emission regulations.
Update the Engine Control Unit software to ensure compliance to regulations.
Peugeot Fuel Pipe
On affected vehicles there there may be loose connections between a high-pressure fuel pipe and the engine fuel rail which potentially could lead to a leak and risk of fire.
Retighten the affected connections.
Peugeot DV5R Engines Camshaft Chain.
Vehicles may be affected by premature wearing of the camshaft drive chain leading to abnormal noise or to a breakage of the chain in the worst case.
Update the software to improve oil pressure and reduce wear. Check the engine noise and replace the chain if required. If no problem found change the oil to one with higher viscosity and special anti-wear additives.
Peugeot 308 408 3008 5008 Fuel Pipe Leakage
Affected vehicles may face potential leakage of the under-bonnet fuel pipe due to a weakness of its crimping.
Change the fuel pipe.

Check the fixing notches of the front seat headrests and exchange them if necessary.
Peugeot 30085008 Risk of broken bolt front control arm ball joint.
On affected vehicles the fixing bolts on the front left or right bracket on the lower control arm may break. In the worst-case scenario 2 broken bolts could affect the controllability of the vehicle.
Change the front left and right ball joint brackets.
Peugeot 3008 Cradle Bracket
On affected vehicles the cradle bracket is not according to specification. In some cases this could lead to cracking of the bracket and structural integrity loss resulting in loss of vehicle control.
Check the cradle bracket and rework if necessary.
Peugeot 3008508 PHEV. Traction Battery
On affected vehicles there is a fault in the High Voltage (HV) Battery which could potentially lead to a breakdown charging issue and/or overheating and in a worst-case scenario a High Voltage Battery or vehicle fire.
Replace the High Voltage Battery.

Cross carline Engine software
On affected vehicles below 12500 miles under certain conditions engine emissions may lead to a non-compliance to regulatory requirements.
Check the mileage of the vehicle and update the ECU (Engine Control Unit) calibration on vehicles below 12500 miles.
Affected vehicles may have been supplied with a Mode 2 (orange) charging cable that was not according to specification (a risk of a wrong safety calibration feature of the temperature sensor of the charging cable pins). In worst-case this could lead to a thermal incident during charging.
